Unlikely to play, Stephens could, better news on a couple of the injured players and an interesting comment on Tarkowski

Very promising.

When SD says Ben Mee and JBG coming back, would that suggest it's when they start training again? Although I thought Mee already was training?

With Jay Rod injured how close is Barnes being ready to come back into the squad?

My reading of it would them being fit.

To say many of us thought JBG could be out for the season (or most of it), that's very good news.

Wonder if he might put Barnes on the bench ‘just in case’.

But for those that think lots of money would mean this sort of player shortage never happening again, Pep Guardiola has been bemoaning the fact that he only has 13 fit players to pick from this weekend.

Let's hope he's got even less next week. ;)

Dyche said a couple of days later that it wasn't as bad as it could have been

Yeah, I mean when he first got injured and moments after. It was looking like a "Here we go again". When Dyche said it wasn't as bad, I was still thinking several weeks.

Sounds promising about Tarky, I really dont think Dyche would have answered that way if he thought he was off this window, get this weekend out of the way and we should be on the way to being back up full strength for our next league game

Great news about Johan. He is a player who really does add something to our first eleven, and it was sickening to think that he might have to miss a good part of this season as well. And hopefully it won't be too long before Ben Mee and James Tarkowski are back in tandem again. Things are looking up a bit regardless of how it goes on Saturday.

There's transfer discussions so I'd take anything said about any player's fitness with a pinch of salt atm.

Any news about Jack Cork? Is he more long term?
