Re: BURNLEY. V. SAINTS
Playing too much in our own half. When we do get in their half the final ball has been dreadful.

Re: BURNLEY. V. SAINTS
Just need better delivery.
And a high tempo to keep them on the back foot and protect our CBs.

Re: BURNLEY. V. SAINTS
Our crossing is pretty poor at the !moment
Re: BURNLEY. V. SAINTS
Pretty poor stuff at the moment. No cohesion. Losing battles all over the park.
Re: BURNLEY. V. SAINTS
Agreed. I’d rather fizz them low on occasion which will catch them out
Re: BURNLEY. V. SAINTS
Garlick stinks!
I’m still livid about that ******* defence and bench.

Re: BURNLEY. V. SAINTS
Why are we lumping it up to Wood and Vydra against their giant defenders?

Re: BURNLEY. V. SAINTS
Ref gave no extra time
Re: BURNLEY. V. SAINTS
Neither are we. Add to the fact we have no game changers on the bench, it's not looking good.
Re: BURNLEY. V. SAINTS
**** poor and boring
Re: BURNLEY. V. SAINTS
Poor 1st half we have to be better next 45

Re: BURNLEY. V. SAINTS
On the plus side, it's not as if Pope has been that busy and we definitely grew into the game. We're right in it, if we get the next goal who knows. Southampton are no mugs though, they have some really good ball players

Starting to think Garlick would play Tony before signing a CB.

Re: BURNLEY. V. SAINTS
Brownhill should be put in the centre, we never attack down the right and he is being wasted there.

Re: BURNLEY. V. SAINTS
I really don’t know what to say about that first half. Did we have a single shot on goal? If we did I must have gone for a ****. Nowhere near good enough against a poor Southampton side.

Not out of this.
We can turn this around.

Dyche looked furious going off there, he's gunna stick a rocket up the lads arses and we are going to win 3-1

Re: BURNLEY. V. SAINTS
Even without Toekowski and Mee we can still get back into this in the next 45.

I can see Pieters replacing Stephen’s and going wide to get Josh back in the middle... still square pegs rounds holes though

Re: BURNLEY. V. SAINTS
You're really stretching blaming the ref in any sense for that half. It was definitely not a pen, and it could've been a booking but was borderline. Nevertheless we got the foul. I didn't note any delays to warrant much extra time, and it's not as if we were peppering their goal was it.

Re: BURNLEY. V. SAINTS

Think Dyche was more furious with the officials not giving the penalty.

Pratt Jamie Redknapp says that there 'wasn't enough contact' !!
Re: BURNLEY. V. SAINTS
If the ref gives the penalty, it doesn’t get overturned.
