If the ref gives the penalty, it doesn’t get overturned.
For the record, I’m not saying it is or isn’t a pen.

Awful but theyre not looking dangerous now and we're good at grabbing a goal from nowhere and changing the game. We need a second half as another 45mins of this and they will deserve all the pelters they are sure to get from the fans

I can see Pieters replacing Stephen’s and going wide to get Josh back in the middle... still square pegs rounds holes though

Agree with that. Live I thought it was a pen. Doubt it’d have been overturned!

Not great from either side, but when you've got a predator like Ings you've always got a chance of nicking something.

The good news is it's only 1-0.

The really good news is we surely cant be as bad 2nd half can we?

They're nowt special, and we can definitely get back into this, next goal's massive though.

Time for Mr Garlick to get out as quick as possible. I know we have injuries but how many of that team would have got in the championship winning team

No penalty for me. Contact and Wood goes down so it looks like one, but when you look at it from another angle and more closely it is really soft. However, I agree a top six club would have got something.

Plenty of effort from the lads, but things aren't quite clicking. Southampton are passing us off the pitch and we look out of sorts. That could be the shakiness at the back not giving us our usual confidence to push forward. We are also being forced to pass under pressure which is causing problems and our final balls / cross are sloppy.

Crank it up a level and I feel we could still get something though. We could use a bit of luck to swing things our way.

its very clear Garlick needs to sanction spending to take place bench with no PL experience apart from 2 defenders is inexcusable, if he's not prepared to spend then he allows the takeover to happen instea of being a self centred selfish bs so there is money to spend and do the right thing by Dyches commitment to this club before its too late

Back pass to Pope, kick out, lose possession. Rinse and repeat, same clip on loop. Awful.
