How odd we live in Yorkshire and get Granada TV πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Back in 88 there had been a murder enquiry and the investigating officers stayed at the Boars Head for around 2 weeks. They trekked off to do a TV thing for the local news on BBC and ITV. They asked us in the pub had we seen it ... as it had been on Calendar at 6pm that evening... we informed them that we all got Granada and BBC Manchester in the Settle area ... off they went to the Manchester studios to do it all over again πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

It’s worse than I first thought.... they get proper tv and still support Yorkshire. Glory hunters.

I'm in Woodham which is slightly more upmarket ;)

From Keighley originally, another less desirable place..
Shipley isn't too bad if you are on the Baildon side.

Yorkshire, being at least 20 years behind everywhere else, probably haven't got HD yet.

The vast majority of yorkies shouldn't be seen in HD

I was in Crook on Sunday, parked at the community/leisure centre and went on the mountain bike to Consett via Broompark and Langley park on the cycle path.
Pleased to say that my car was still there when I returned ;)

I noticed there was no mention of Mondays problems on Tuesdays Granada Reports. I thought they might have told us just what happened on Monday.

Seems its not only Burnley FC with communication problems!
