And we are not standing still......we are going backwards quite frightening
Re: Bad news Fulham, Brighton, Newcastle strengthen
Joachim Anderson and Ruben Loftus Cheek, Fulham trying to stay in the league then while we hang the white flag.

Two players who Radnap has more or less labelled as panic buys, who are likely to add nothing to Fulham... for how much?

They have signed players. Absolutely no guarantee that they have strengthened.

Better to have tried and failed, than not even tried at all.

Re: Bad news Fulham, Brighton, Newcastle strengthen
We have had some very bad summervtransfer windows but this one has to be the worst ever.
Especially after finishing tenth and shedding 5 high earners what seems like months ago
Hope you get a good deal for the club Mr Garlick
Your transfer strategy is shambolic

I remember the last time Fulham spent big in a summer transfer window in the PL.

Re: Bad news Fulham, Brighton, Newcastle strengthen
Keeping hold of Tarkowski and Pope leaves us significantly stronger than I anticipated. (Leaving aside last weekend's performances)
Re: Bad news Fulham, Brighton, Newcastle strengthen
They’re trying to stay in the league, what does Redknapp know? He said Andersen plays for Sampdoria which is false. I really like Loftus Cheek tbhelwaclaret wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 10:50 pmTwo players who Radnap has more or less labelled as panic buys, who are likely to add nothing to Fulham... for how much?

Re: Bad news Fulham, Brighton, Newcastle strengthen
I wish people would stop being so negative.
The biggest positive of the window is that we have kept our best player Tarkowski.
With an international break coming up and a chance to get Ben Mee back along Tarkowski, we will soon be up and running.
We are better keeping Tarkowski than replacing him with panic buys that would put the long term future of the club in jeapordy

Not sure about the Fulham business but there were some shrewd moves made. For me Walcott on loan and Everton paying half is wage is potentially the move of the window. He has a point to prove at Saints-bit like JayRod coming home. Will make Saints an even better club on the break. He still has pace and can play wide or down the middle

He promised to apologise if he was wrong, but he hasn't surfaced yet. Knee deep in bullshit I expect.

Re: Bad news Fulham, Brighton, Newcastle strengthen
RLC was one I'd have liked us to sign, think he's a decent player and would definitely improve our midfield. Seems he was being touted round a lot of clubs but no-one was keen as Chelsea wanted whoever took him to cover his £150k a week wage. I wonder if a compromise was reached on that or Fulham sucked it up?

Its usually "I have mate with a box at West Ham, Leicester, Villa who knows the Chairman and he says" etc etc etcfidelcastro wrote: ↑Tue Oct 06, 2020 10:27 amYes. Nothing more sad than people pretending to be in the know.

Agree Walcott was a good signing, but Southampton would always have beaten us with an approach. The club that made him.warksclaret wrote: ↑Tue Oct 06, 2020 10:20 amNot sure about the Fulham business but there were some shrewd moves made. For me Walcott on loan and Everton paying half is wage is potentially the move of the window.
