don't come on here with all your common sense! How dare you.ClaretDiver wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 11:23 amWhy are you blaming Sky and BT for the PPV situation. It is the clubs that demanded this and set the pricing. All Sky are using is their Box Office platform in order to facilitate showing the requested games that were not originally part of the Sky Sports package

Leisure is right, we are all on differing prices. I’ve only got tv with Sky but got the full package including BT Sport & Netflix, currently at £71.

This is because offers fluctuate monthly and therefore it is dependent upon when you contracted in.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 2:25 pmLeisure is right, we are all on differing prices. I’ve only got tv with Sky but got the full package including BT Sport & Netflix, currently at £71.

Already been and done. It's the first thing I did (didn't need to mention the package as I'm an existing customer)ClaretDiver wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 2:22 pmA tip for you.....go to the website and look at the packages on there....then mention that specific package and go from there.

The reason I mentioned it is that sometimes you can get an even better deal as advisors are not allowed to tell you the additional deals on the website it has to be customer led....but if you are happy that's all that counts!FactualFrank wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 2:30 pmAlready been and done. I'll ring up and see what they say. People on rolling contracts generally get better deals to tie themselves down.ClaretDiver wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 2:34 pmThe reason I mentioned it is that sometimes you can get an even better deal as advisors are not allowed to tell you the additional deals on the website it has to be customer led....but if you are happy that's all that counts!

Games, when it's not shown on NBC,its on Peacock, the best thing to do is get a firestick, then go on YouTube and search For filelinked, everything is there on how to install it,it will take about 15 minutes.,once you have filelinked on your FS everything after that is easily done.

Re: Sky/BT Sports Box Office
Think I’ve saved at least £4,000 by not having Sky over the last 5 years. Don’t miss it much but then I don’t need to see all Premier League games and haven’t go the time. Anything else I can watch via streaming channels. Pay for the odd one here and there. Not sure why so many people pay Sky so much money.
Re: Sky/BT Sports Box Office
I'm not surprised you don't have time to watch more PL games when you're running Hazard County, surely you can delegate more authority to the more than capable Roscoe P Coltrane and his dog Flash though ?

Good IPTV provider and a VPN is the way forward until we get back to the Turf.
Re: Sky/BT Sports Box Office - Cancel
A wee Firestick or android box will solve that.FactualFrank wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 11:10 amThe problem is, one of my TVs uses Magic Eye from the Sky box. And only one of my TVs is worth a carrot - the other one would blow up if I even mentioned the word download.

What do you keep harping on about Sky for?...it will go through your firestick nothing to do with Sky.FactualFrank wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 8:28 pmMaybe. But it's going through my Sky, so sounds like I basically need to illegally see how it goes.

Sky Signature is the new TV package that includes all the channels you would get on the Entertainment package but now combines the Sky Box Sets package with it as standard.

Re: Sky/BT Sports Box Office
For firestick don't you essentially have to hack past the basic system (i remember doing this on my old one for that ace sports package that eventually died as the broadcaaters finally killed it off)

No you just need to enable “apps from unknown sources” in the settingsBabylonClaret wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 6:39 pmFor firestick don't you essentially have to hack past the basic system (i remember doing this on my old one for that ace sports package that eventually died as the broadcaaters finally killed it off)
