You’d have to be an astronaut residing in space to not realise the time was delayed & delayed, I had enough reminders to shake a stick at, I was that annoyed with the reminders I purposely never watched, I reckon over 90% of population knew what coming before he confirmed it.

They suggested following Sage advice about locking down weeks ago , wasn’t that a positive suggestion?LoveCurryPies wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:50 pmIs there a single person think we would be better off if Prime Minister Corbyn was in number 10?
Labour are sitting back criticising but making few positive suggestions.
I’m not a fan of Boris, merely asking if the election vote had gone the other way would things have been better?

Not really the same as before...
If your abiding by the rules/advice then not much will change in your life.
So no extra time at my end to set a challenge

Aye, he does, words simply cannot do your stupidity justice.
I've been off the board for a week, down in Devon, and it is, paradoxically, both amusing and depressing to see nothing has changed - you're still getting a pasting on every issue you discuss.

I might need to concede this to you for once but I thought as we are in Tier 3 , we were advised not to leave the area?

The thing is I am seeing young (under 70)people die of covid almost every day. The first person I took into ICU way back was 33. He died, alone.
Clearly you would think my views for lockdown would be strong. I would be forthright with my views. But I’m not. I’ve no idea how to control this virus. I understand that people will be losing their jobs. I understand the knock on effect.
So how people who are not seeing what I’m seeing Are so confident with their opinions is beyond me.
Listen to the scientists and economists, not the politicians. Realise that like me, we all are clueless in how to manage this.

Elizabeth is deliberately drawing people into fights, maybe to get the thread locked stopping sensible people discussing sensible science and/or to stop too much criticism of the government.
Either way he's being deliberately disruptive due to some unknown agenda so best just ignore him.

I've just started physio for a rotator cuff issue. Appointments with physio via zoom. Expectation is 3-6 months to improve. I'm putting this at the top of my list for November/LD2.

Just got myself in shape, 60 gym visits since they reopened, learnt a lot so will be maintaining a 30 minute morning work out and 30 minute evening work out which will be tough, but I’m not putting that weight back on. Not giving up booze, done that for a few months at a time and it’s pointless for me, everyone’s different but I enjoy a few bottles of wine at weekend

Come on lads, UK is going into lock down and we can all make political political gains out of this: it's those tory toffs, who couldn't give a f.uck about the working classes, all they care about is lining their own pockets and their bankerfriends and, millionaire friends. They only reason they are in power is because of the right wing press, they are all Islamophobia racists, who hate the EU and the rest of the world, especially immigrants from anywhere. Perfect chance for you all. Beware, the end is nigh.

The scary thing is Elizabeth genuinely believes she is right, I actually can’t believe there are people this thick in this day and age.
The problem with People like Elizabeth is the spout such nonsense that people could believe her and she could directly cause the death of people by spreading the illness
Re: National Tier 4
Flu deaths are at best a guestimate as testing for flu outside of hospitals is rarely done and the infections start when the bug arrives. Fortunately judging by how things panned out in winter in the antipedes we are likely to have a mild outbreak of flu this winter.
But it is nice to read that this Government is so bad that it is doing its best to get thrown out in2023/24 by shutting down the economy twice under the pre text of a virus that doesn't cause much illness and the deaths which are being caused by flu which has yet to arrive, are being re-classified as Covid-19.
I assume Inchy is also a plant masquerading as a claret making things up about the case mix in Leeds, which interestingly matches my colleagues experiences in Manchester with some fatalities in otherwise healthy men under 30.
Anyway S(He) who knows not and knows not that s(he) knows not is a fool shun him/her
S(He) who knows not and knows that s(he) knows not is reachable, so teach him/her
But he who knows and knows that he knows is wise follow him.
So I wonder if Elizabeth can be helped by KSclaret or Inchy

I was interested because, on the surface, this guy seems to have had a very good scientific career and has held some very senior positions. Do you really do that if you’re a fake? Hard to know, but it’s unusual.

To be fair this would have been a nightmare for ANY government and even though I can't take BJ seriously I do actually feel a little sorry for him because the subs bench is crap...Handjob , Whateley , Jenrick..there's nobody in the team to inspire confidence...just a bunch of sycophants which is probably, on reflection , how he likes it and , after all , HE chose them...but he could have had Jeremy Hunt as Health Secretary...BIG mistake not appointing him...well liked within the NHS , a good communicator and well on top of his brief. Never mind there are three rays of sunshine...and we still have The Premier League...which will do my elderly aunt locked in her nursing home in Colne a power of good....I can't even see her through the window now.
