Re: Turkish Grand Prix
Some sh1te above about Bottas. Second in the drivers standings, regular pole positions.
It’s not all the car guys.

Re: Turkish Grand Prix
I’d agree with that.
There’s a reason why he has the best car. Because he’s by far the best driver. Mercedes have the biggest budget, the best car, it’s only common sense to then put the best driver in it.
I’m sure if Ferrari provided a good enough car he wouldn’t think twice about driving it. Winning an F1 World Championship is the pinnacle.

Ferrari have the biggest budget and earn by far the most money out of F! - even with the changes next season F! will give Ferrari substantially more moneyDyched wrote: ↑Sun Nov 15, 2020 12:24 pmI’d agree with that.

Re: Turkish Grand Prix
they made a very fast car - it just seems they broke the rules in doing so and were knocked back a long way (perhaps as much as 2 - 3 years) in development as the rules were clarified to them - of course Mercedes worked hard to catch up with that illegal engine and found themselves miles in front when the rules were clarified

Re: Turkish Grand Prix
I presume your post is being sarcastic ? Bottas is a decent driver but when all is said and in with equal machinery he’d be midfield at best .The merc is so superior it’s almost impossible to do like for like comparisons but he’s Hamilton’s team mate for a reasonhuw.Y.WattfromWare wrote: ↑Sun Nov 15, 2020 12:22 pmSome sh1te above about Bottas. Re: Turkish Grand Prix
Credit to Hamilton but as soon as it started to get dry the Mercedes lit up.
When I first watched Hamilton I thought he was often very lucky. You could think the same today with the weather clearing up towards the end and Stroll having car damage causing extra tyre wear..realistically though Hamilton knew the intermediate tyres would wear down to slicks, made the right call and made sure despite the car being bad in the wet at the beginning that he was in the mix.
It's no coincidence when he does it time and time again. If he's having a bad day at worst he's 6th place. Says it all really.
I wish he would move on to a different team. Sadly looks like he's signing again with Mercedes.
