I liked Ward but Charlie Taylor is a better left back. I can’t recall Ward having as many man of the match type displays as Taylor has had for us.

MOM for me as well, really improved this year and my player of the year so far. Not sure he enjoys playing against Mahrez but not many do

Personally don’t think he’s had a great season but has improved over the past few games (as has the whole side). But tonight he was fantastic.

Great performance, much better support from Dwight. Icing on the cake with that sprint and sand wedge for the first goal.

Brilliant from Charlie Taylor, It's a pity you don't get double points for that assist.

Re: Charlie Taylor
What are you on about.
As I said. Taylor’s a good player. And playing well. But ward was a phenomenal player for us. Uncompromising. Unfashionable. But was consistently an 8/10. And a crucial player in the side that finished 7th in the premier league and got into Europe.
That’s a compliment to say Taylor’s at them levels.

Yes Ward was excellent, but so is Taylor.

Brownhill and Westwood were superb as well and that was probably the most pleased I’ve been with Brady since before his injuries. He’s starting to look as though he might rediscover his form, which is a real bonus.

Re: Charlie Taylor
They might come knocking, but that's par for the course at BFC, however if they want him they'll have to dig deep, he's contracted until 2024 I think, so we can drive a hard bargain should any suitors come calling.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Mon Dec 21, 2020 7:45 pmI hope he has a colossal buy out clause in his contract because it wont be long until the big clubs come knocking for him
