All the best to you too, Tony. Lovely message.

I consider myself to be very fortunate as to the life I'm living at present. I will be thinking of others not so fortunate as I around this time whatever their situation, background or circumstance. It has been a horrendous year and I just hope that for those on their own are able to stay positive, strong and with a future to look forward to. Sending out all my love to you all.

I would particularly like to thank you for your dedication and diligence in keeping the youth & U23 football reports, information, tables and fixtures up to date and your steadfastness in promoting the development of this area.

I also think you have done a great job with the food banks too

Hope you have a good Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you too Tony. Do try and get out for those walks everyday if you can won't you, even if it's raining, it will do your mental health the world of good. I know it won't be the same for you this year not seeing your family but hopefully you can speak with them regularly via zoom, it will help. It's important that we all keep in touch on this message board even on Christmas Day, without it we'd be lost souls, so on behalf of my family and others thank you for what you've done and continue to do it's very much appreciated by us all. Best wishes and keep safe.

Many thanks for your greetings Tony and many thanks too for all your work with Up The Clarets, always an interesting board to read on a daily basis.
Best Wishes to you for as good a Christmas as possible in the circumstances and, as the Germans say, einen guten Rutsch ins Neue Jahr 2021 !!
2021 can certainly not be worse than 2020 !! As well as myself, the Black Forest Clarets have missed their trips to Turf Moor, especially for the Christmas and New Year fixtures.

Merry Christmas CT, the mods and all the other UTC posters, it's been a trying year for everyone, but there is signs of hope in the future, and the upturn in form by the Clarets, will surely raise spirits amongst us all.

I'm just thankful that I've still got my job, I'm well aware many others aren't as fortunate, and I wish you a much better 2021, as the song goes things can only get better.

Here's to plenty of points for the Clarets over the next couple of weeks. All being well I may manage to get on the turf in 2021 for the 1st time in decades.

Finally a shout out for all those who will still be working during the holiday period, well the rest of us are gorging on mince pies and mulled wine, if this year has shown anything it's shown who the really key members of society are, and their commitment in the face of adversity shouldn't be forgotten.

Claret Tony, great thread. Have a great Christmas.

I've liked a few of the other posts above - showing my appreciation for the messages expressed.

I guess I've also got to add (before some picks me up for not including...)

Exciting times

Happy Christmas to everyone on this board. Happy Christmas to the mods who’ve had a tough job on their hands since March keeping everything in order. This board will always be the first website I visit in the morning, the last one before bed. It’s brilliant.

I hope next year we can all sample the atmosphere in that wonderful stadium again, and that we can celebrate another season in the PL.

Best wishes to you Tony (and the other of Tony's little helpers) for providing this platform. Its much more than a football forum. Its a social lifeline for many of us who all support the clarets but have many other things they wish to express and discuss. Its not an exaggeration to say many lives are improved by this forum and would be diminished if it was no longer there.

To everyone who contributes you are members of one of the most elite, glorious, supportive, daft, sometimes rude clubs in the world. Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you Tony Scholes and all other Ckarets wherever you are. 2020 has been grim and there are still hard times ahead. But we have to remember that compared to nearly half of the world’s population we are lucky people. We have homes and food and comforts and we support the clarets!
