Re: ARTICLE: Nuno charged for Mason comments
A manager finally breaking and making comments on Mason didn't come as a surprise.... but nor did the charge for what he said, and went on to repeat numerous times. I have a lot of sympathy with him on the issue of that ref. He was the worst in the prem until....... Leeds (a)

Re: ARTICLE: Nuno charged for Mason comments
given how small the pool of refs is (and granted they all don't get along) why on earth would you attack one of them so unnecessarily ?
I can't see it working in his favour
edit:yes, his reaction to the ref at Leeds would have been off the charts

I saw footage of him during the Liverpool match and I'm no body language export, but he looks like a man under pressure to me.

I once read of an 18th century judge who wrote in his diary that he would preside over a fair trial on Wednesday and the accused would be executed on Thursday........
The announcement of FA hearings often remind me of that article.

Absolute nonsense, Mason is one of the worst of a very poor crop of current refs.

I like Wolves as a club but dislike the current set up ( Super Agent gets a large chunk of all dealings) and glad that it seems to be failing.

He'll get fined, but it'll have the desired effect - he won't have to suffer Mason again.

Re: ARTICLE: Nuno charged for Mason comments
I can't really recall any poor/contentious decisions that Mason made in the game and certainly none that would have affected the result. Anyone recall any?

When dealing with football referees. Just glad that Sean kept his cool after the Leeds debacle

Re: ARTICLE: Nuno charged for Mason comments
NUno ended up with a fine of £25000 for his remarks. He will probably find it well worth the money if they are not allocated Lee Mason again!

This is where Nuno could definitely learn something from Sean Dyche, he handled the Jones debacle brilliantly.
