If they were stuck after the crash they could have always called up Richard Keogh's mates for a lift.

Everyone was glancing enviously at Sheff Utd last season, now they are a mess. Just shows how quickly it can all unravel

We really struggled with them last season, their movement was just too much for us to handle.
Wilder was a victim of his own success. Better to get relegated first time round and nobody has any expectations of you.

Depending on the driver, the amount of alcohol consumed - if any , any speeding and any previous record, it could be a twelve-weeker.
It might all be nonsense, of course, but even so they should have taken the Lunds - tram...

Re: Sheffield United. When it rains
I suggest a combination of alcohol and lack of driving talent will be the cause here ... If he gets maximum points for both the drink-driving and careless driving. he'll have more points than us, never mind Sheffield United !!GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:00 pmYou need to be really trying to smash up a 4wd Lambo ... Indeed looks very old compared to Mousset’s (what’s left of it).

Re: Sheffield United. When it rains
Need proper punishments. Some of these footballers are an embarrassment outside of football. As a club I don’t see anything wrong with Sheff Utd at all. Their fans I met on route to Wembley were good to talk too and I’ve known a few of their fans who are all good people. Don’t get the animosity.

Following on from the Fulham partygoers why don’t these clubs grow a pair and “ investigate” straight away.
Then they can either deny these stories or take the selfish rule breakers out and shoot them!

Looks like his driving skills are on a par with his footballing talent.
Him and Brewster were as bad as anything I’ve seen us come up against in the top two divisions.
Proper gash.

Re: Sheffield United. When it rains
He was driving so fast that when the Mercedes clipped him with its wing-mirror that he naturally crashed onto the floor and rolled over a few times.
Clearly the penalty points should be given to the Mercedes owner along with a 3 week driving ban.

Indeed! and yet some posters on here think we should have signed Brewster, definitely avoided a waster there.

Acoording to their message board, he drives like a two hat, even when he's sober.
They aren't impressed at all.
What gets me is if you can afford a Lamborghini, a taxi from Sheffield to say London, would be loose change. That couldn't give a **** attitude would just stick in the throat of all football fans.

Re: Sheffield United. When it rains
Wilder has blown circa 35 million on Brewster and Mousset. Forget the fact that Sheff Utd are bottom of the league and the media love Chris Wilder, he should be fired for gross incompetence signing these two.

Re: Sheffield United. When it rains
I have no issue with Sheff U as a club. We've had some great tussles with them over the years and I've always seen them as one of those clubs very similar to us in so many ways, but I will say that the way Liverpool picked millions out of their pocket over Brewster shows how extremely careful clubs like us have to be with our cash. He really is awful.

Shouldn't ejector seats work vertically, as opposed to through the side panels ?

Poor recruitment hasn't helped. He's rotating his team more to try and find a formula and it's all unravelled.

And whilst I acknowledge it's digressing from the thread slightly, it just highlights how careful we still need to be with signings, ALK or no ALK, as there's plenty of lemons out there and plenty of clubs (and agents) willing to ask stupid money for them, especially if they think you've got it!!ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 10:45 amPoor recruitment hasn't helped. Re: Sheffield United. When it rains
Absolutely. I think they got their summer recruitment wrong while we just didn't bother with it. I've watched them a few times and I really wonder whether paying all that money for Brewster was a good idea. He might become a very good player in time but I don't think he was what they needed just now.Dark Cloud wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 10:52 amAnd whilst I acknowledge it's digressing from the thread slightly, it just highlights how careful we still need to be with signings, ALK or no ALK, as there's plenty of lemons out there and plenty of clubs (and agents) willing to ask stupid money for them, especially if they think you've got it!!

Re: Sheffield United. When it rains
Sean Dyche has often talked of how he has studied and visited Coaches from other sports, including one of the Boat race crews, and elite Rugby Union squads. One thing he's clearly taken from the All Blacks, amongst others, is their " No D******d " policy, I'm not sure he's gone as far as ensuring the players sweep up the floors of dressing rooms before leaving, though that might be for 2021 !!Dark Cloud wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 10:52 amAnd whilst I acknowledge it's digressing from the thread slightly, it just highlights how careful we still need to be with signings, ALK or no ALK, as there's plenty of lemons out there and plenty of clubs (and agents) willing to ask stupid money for them, especially if they think you've got it!!
