The reason why our strikers are failing
On match days, it’s a ritual for me to kick my underpants into the laundry basket at the first attempt from the landing carpet. Hitting the basket or hanging on the rim doesn’t count as they have to go straight in. My current strike rate is around 1 in 4.
I’m stepping up the training in an effort to get the team out of this goal drought.
Any other persons match day wining ritual gone to pot in lockdown?

I had major concerns yesterday regarding the Tinned Food Count and the performance on the pitch.
We got there in the end, keep practising IC.

First training session for them on Monday morning should be a trip to Cronkshaw Fold Farm and shoot towards the doors on the barn to see if they can hit them.

I think you'll find that without the TFC, Jon Moss would have blown his whistle 20 seconds before Vyds stole in at the back stick and squeezed it into the net.
Keep the faith

Re: The reason why our strikers are failing
I saw a stat last week that Wood had more headed goals than anybody in the PL. This could lead one to the conclusion he is good in the air. Nothing could be further from the truth. He is awful. If it hits him on the head a yard out he’ll probably score, if he has to do anything beyond that he is off target. Lochhead would have put that sitter yesterday to the keepers left and ran back to the halfway line for kick off. Wood barely got his arse off the ground and then goes for the impossible top corner.
