They seem to have got themselves very organised - Chris Wood has got involved and they've now got Payts on zoom. Hope they have a really good weekend.

Its strange to think that, despite being the farthest we could possibly be from Turf Moor, that arguably this weekend, we will have the most Clarets fans gathered in one place with up to 30 expected. A very strange situation to be in!

Barney at Melbourne Clarets might challenge me on that one, but I'm pretty sure we will take 1st place.....

Thanks for all the previous well wishes, and one last push - if anyone knows of anyone in NZ who wants to join us, or otherwise, if you are reading this and want to join us, please get in touch.

We will communicate pictures through the weeked, via Tony, and I'm sure he will have them up online next week.

Up The New Zealand Clarets!

Have a great weekend. Like Sydney says, wish the bubble was a two way thing. Bloody hell, we canโ€™t even travel between states atm.

Some of the boys are hoping for a cross Tasman meet up at some point, so letโ€™s hope thatโ€™s something we can all look forward to once the world goes back to normal!

Iโ€™m already eyeing up 7 a side- NZ CLARETS vs Aussie Clarets!

Recognise a couple of faces, first picture Kieron on the left went to the Saturday clubs in late 1990's.

Looks like Tom behind the beard 8-)

Hope you have a fantastic weekend. You will be number one I think. Donโ€™t think weโ€™ve ever reached 30, been close, but not quite.

UTC.

Edit: just had a look back.
Man City game 3 seasons ago we had 20
Man Utd Boxing Day game. We had 24.
We mightโ€™ve had more for the Charlton promotion game.
Fantastic for you you guys to get so many together. Wish I was there, love Wellington.

Few more pics from this evening

Andy Payton did us an absolutely brilliant sportsmanโ€™s dinner.

Brilliant turnout - not quite 30 I donโ€™t think- but 25..... great bunch

Hope you are well mate (any clues?)
Your parents took us both to Wigan's old ground whilst we were at school ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hope you and your family are well. Nice to see you flying the claret flag far away ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Morning. Hope you all enjoyed your day at the races and a " few" beers, dont want to spoil it for you, ( you've probably been on here anyway) but you might need a few more beers with your bacon & eggs. ๐Ÿ˜

They have phones off and not checking anything so they can watch it as live. I did a video call with them last night and they were going to repeat it this evening but I told them not to, that the expression on my face would probably give the result away. Losing and playing badly is horrible but it isn't anything like as bad if there is a group of you so they'll watch it, get brassed off but have a few beers and that will be it just as we would be doing now if travelling home from West Ham.

Thanks loyal- hope you and the family are well mate. No doubt you are frustrated at not being able to get around the country with the clarets.

I thought you might have mentioned GCSE maths with Mrs greaves!

Amazing weekend despite the result.

So happy to share with people at home and will have some pictures up this weekend!

About 10/15 west ham fans joined us this morning and then a pretty hungover stag do, so ended up with a decent atmosphere! UTC

My initials are LS and I have the strangest surname ever! Youโ€™ll know what I mean when he tells you!
I must admit Leyland- your name got a good few laughs this weekend! Dave said you were a top drawer lad though and sent his regards!

I have heard them all as you can imagine...well Iโ€™ve had it for nearly 50 years so Iโ€™m used to it now!
Youngy sent me a message on bookface about your weekend. Glad you had a great weekend...pity our lads over here didnโ€™t finish it off with a win.
Stay safe pal 8-)
