Re: West Ham v Burnley - Match Thread
Seems like Pieters is incapable of passing the ball forward.

30 mins in and I'm halfway through my 2nd Guinness. This is depressing.

Clearance from defence is a punt upfield - and none of our players there... what’s the point?

It’s a proper nonsense rule that the flag doesn’t go up immediately.superdimitri wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 3:34 pmCould tell he was offside the moment the ball was passed to him.
What possible reason is there to carry on in that situation?

It baffles me how there seems to be so much space between our midfield and forwards when we have the ball, and our midfield and defenders, when we don’t.

Very lucky there. They look a lot more dangerous in attack. Making all the right runs, crosses, passes. Could learn from them.

If Wood and Barnes appear for the second half...
It will be a day ending in with a ‘y’.

I have been saying it for weeks.
Our biggest mistake over the last two windows was not signing a decent CM.
Brownhill offers absolutely nothing but hard graft.

Snapshot from Wood. Foot wide. Strikers are at least putting in a shift. Pieters, Lowton, Brady and Gudmundsson just not on it today.

Needed yes, but will they be made?
Re: West Ham v Burnley - Match Thread
Even McCoist is struggling to try and make this match seem exciting. Think we’ve broken him.

Already looking like a game where we need Dwight, JRod and Vydra on ASAP.
Yes, I know it won’t happen, but I can live in hope.

Refs done well so far, I think
Re: West Ham v Burnley - Match Thread
According to Mr Dyche, he picks players on form and not loyalty. Quite a staggering statement when you look at his constant inclusion of the front 2.

Dion Dublin on Sky bang on, no quality in the final third.
Re: West Ham v Burnley - Match Thread
Guddy with a great pass back to Fabianski... or does that count as a shot on target?

Surely second half can only get better. Couple of changes needed.
