Re: Today's Footy
I think they'll get at least a draw. WHU seemed pretty shaky when we actually got at them. Or did I dream that...
Re: Today's Footy
It will show if wba result against wolves was a one off , God forbid they get a result tonight
Re: Today's Footy
Apparently Robert Snodgrass is unable to feature for West Brom tonight due an agreement that prevented him playing against West Ham this season when he left them, even though he's gone permanently. Quite odd I thought.
Conor Gallagher is a decent enough player to come in for him though.

Re: Today's Footy
I expect a comfortable win for the Hammers.

Jason Knight captaining Derby again tonight vs Bournemouth on Sky , We've been put on 'hot alert' about his availability this month according to Jay O'Connor (reliable irish source)

Will randomly go for 1-1.
Re: Today's Footy
West Brom looking comfortable. Can’t see many if any goals. That should guarantee a Hammers win
Re: Today's Footy
Wasn't impressed with west ham on Saturday and tonight, amazing they are so high up the table

Re: Today's Footy
That should be offside for me. Looks like the keeper hesitated in diving because he thought the player stood in an offside position was going to get a touch on it.
Re: Today's Footy
Your track record! I hope you’re right this time, although West Brom have just equalisedWellsy1882 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 7:07 pmWhy. They should be winning at home versus a championship team

WBA massively on top this half so far, WHU can't get the ball

Re: Today's Footy
I don’t know what the law states, but whilst he didn’t interfere with Fabianski’s line of sight, his positioning definitely impacts Fabianksi’s ability to save the shot.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 7:12 pmnah, quite a distance away from the keeper
either way not good for us

Re: Today's Footy
disagree, when you see the angle from behind the goal the ball doesn't even go in the corner and Fabianski makes a full dive for it.

I’ll have to have another look. Looked to me like he was slow to dive.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 7:17 pmdisagree, when you see the angle from behind the goal the ball doesn't even go in the corner and Fabianski makes a full dive for it.

Re: Today's Footy
Still haven’t seen it since my comment so I’ll reserve further judgement until I have. But in my opinion an offside player shouldn’t be able to interfere with the game in any way.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 7:21 pmI would have been furious had we scored it and it be ruled out !!
Need Hammers to step it up and get the win
I find it very frustrating when an attacker is stood in an offside position but the defender isn’t certain so has to stretch to make an awkward headed clearance. If the attacker isn’t there then the defender could let the ball drop or bring it down and play out at his leisure.

Grosicki, meh.
But Snodgrass would have been excellent for us at the time, great cross and set pieces. Priced out by West Ham and we settled for Brady.
