What You Drinking?
Come on!
Let's be 'avin' you.
What you drinking to celebrate?
I've cracked open a bottle of "Somerset Apple Brandy" (AKA English Calvados) to celebrate this wonderful evening.

Some Eastern European lager that I can't spell, tastes better then normal though.
Good effort on the count Rowls, even though I didn't get anything from it, might become a permanent position.

Had several nice real ales, but simply had to go for the single malt to get me through those last extremely nervous 10 minutes!

Re: What You Drinking?
Very large whisky & sparkling water.
What a fantastic night.....I was at Anfield in '74 when Ian Brennan scored the winner and it's been a hell of a long wait since then.....but well worth the wait. Brilliant performance to a man.

Re: What You Drinking?
How I have manged to not drink it already I have no idea:
1 Bottle of Ketel One Vodka. A very nice Christmas present.
Like the match tonight it was a slow and steady to start but I have reserves of drinking energy to keep me involved for the long haul, not unlike the Clarets.
Just now, poured the remainder of the Vodka. What I thought was a 50ml serve was, probably, nearer 200ml.
Have a good one.

Was working while the game was on, but Just watched the 12-min highlights while demolishing a bottle of Duclaw's "Sweet Baby Jesus" a chocolate peanut butter porter - what a great combination! Think I will go for a repeat now

Dry January but all the inevitable shouting proved to my wife it's the passion and not to do with the booze that usually goes to my head.

Excellent news!what_no_pies wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 12:35 amDry January but all the inevitable shouting proved to my wife it's the passion and not to do with the booze that usually goes to my head.
My Mum blamed the swearing against Leeds on the Beer and me and my Dad had to explain the truly exceptional circumstances of those ridiculous decisions.
I've enjoyed my small measure of booze tonight but it's perfectly acceptable to watch Burnley without ever touching a drop of the stuff.

Re: What You Drinking?
Bout 20 minutes from full time I went to the fridge and saw I had left a Timothy Taylor Boltmaker and a Landlord. I took a look at the landlord and optomistically thought I'll save you just in case I need a celebratory drink. I thought we might just sneak a point. Little did I know...
What a night.
Up the landlord. Up the Barnes. Up the clarets.
