Comms just said Tarks had treatment after we scored. Hope he comes out 2nd half, he could be playing on adrenaline and HT it will wear off.

Vyds seldom gets caught offside as he's can sit a little deeper on the defender's shoulder, but Jay has a great header on him, superb finish.

Make the most of Hector being on the pitch, got to be subbed at half time surely. Looks a pub player.

Gudmundsson almost scored a worldie. Great play from Tarkowski on the wing lol.
Other end Fulham player dives, no penalty.
Why doesn't he get a yellow? Cheating bugger.

Why do so many pro footballers hit the ball over the crossbar- you see it happen a lot?

I enjoyed their tactic to avoid the low shot. Just sleeping on the floor behind the wall :p
Fulham look so poor in defence, how have we only got one? They're awful yet still somehow look like they can score.

My Dad used to say, "How can a professional footballer miss the side of a terraced house" - which the goal was the same size as a living room. He had a point. You train all day and still can't hit the target.

Good half.
Re: Match Day Thread: Fulham vs Burnley
Best side by some distance. Let's start the second half like we did the first. And get the second goal early.
Re: Match Day Thread: Fulham vs Burnley
Peacock-Farrell currently has the cleanest strip
Re: Match Day Thread: Fulham vs Burnley
Good watch that
I know it's not a league game but more flowing with the movement up front

That has got to be one of our most dominant halves of football in a long time. We were all over them.

Re: Match Day Thread: Fulham vs Burnley
Great performance so far.
I know it’s two second strings bar a couple of players for either side, but it really does look like Premier League against Championship this.
Michael Hector by the way - possibly the worst top division central defender since Papy Djilobodji.

So much better to watch than what we usually get.
Re: Match Day Thread: Fulham vs Burnley
Anguissa looking strong in midfield but they are offering nowhere else

We should have scored more than one goal which is a danger really , have to put this game to bed otherwise we could be in trouble

Very enjoyable but Fulham are very poor. Really hoping Vydra gets a few. McNeil looking in form.

Djilobodji = the worst centre half performance I've seen in the PLjedi_master wrote: ↑Sun Jan 24, 2021 3:19 pmGreat performance so far.

An excellent half for us overall and plenty of threat up front. I don't know how close Fulham are to their normal PL team, but they look very poor. Also looks like they're employing the groundsman who retired from The Prairie about 15 years ago which isn't helping anyone tbh.

Re: Match Day Thread: Fulham vs Burnley
Impressive 45 that, now let's kill the game early in the 2nd half, great assist from Cork for the goal, and a lethal finish by Jay, they haven't yet managed an effort on target, the only worry is they surely can't be as bad 2nd half, and we only have a slender lead.
