We won’t miss a Wembley visit
We won’t have to see that 11 start again this season

Re: The positives
No positives at all from that viewing .
Clearly
Prioritising the league - but how bad were some of those players tonight? You can’t go out blaming the youngsters , the experience lads should have led by example and they quite simply didn’t - Rodriguez was absent for the entire game, Stephens looks as if he’s terrified to play forward, and was generally awful. Kevin Long not much better either , had a torrid time with their forward.
How do we expect the likes of Benson, Glennon and Dunne to perform when experienced pros like these are playing as badly as they did tonoght.
Roll on the next game

It was on bt sports so I didn't have to watch it or listen to the commentator everyone was moaning about.
And Chesterfield got knocked out of the fa trophy on covid tests.
Not sure which is the worst result.

Highlight of the game for me was when Karen Carney dropped her attempt at RP and reverted to her west mids accent.

Re: The positives
People were genuinely telling me that Stephens is better (at the moment) than Brownhill a few weeks back.
I know a broken footballer who’s going through the motions. I’ve seen lots of them.
Stephens needs to take up his coaching badges, or wander to league one and play.

I’m positive that Dyche’s wife rung him at 3pm to wish him luck for tonight’s match and he said ‘ oh blimey , I forgot, thanks for reminding me’

Re: The positives
Well we won’t get any! We’ve somehow got to work out a way of playing a ball into the penalty area towards a Burnley player first. ( our best chance is a dodgy handball from one of our 3or 4 corners in a game), providing the ball clears the first defender that is.

Re: The positives
As Burnley manager (FM 2021) I am fighting a relegation battle, currently sitting 1 place above the relegation spots.
However I lost the League Cup semi final to Everton 2-0 and have just progressed into Round 5 of the FA Cup after a 3-0 demolition of Newcastle. Just been drawn away at Barnsley in Round 5.
Fans loving the Cup run - so do I put out a strong team for the trip to Oakwell?

I'm positive I don't want to witness a performance like that ever again.
I don't care about the result, but that performance was shameful.

I do agree if the performance was better then most people wouldn't be as annoyed. That's the case for me anyway.Colburn_Claret wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 9:05 pmI'm positive I don't want to witness a performance like that ever again.

If we had battered them and lost 1 0 against the run of play then fair enough but we got what we deserved.... nothing

Re: The positives
I'm positive we need an overhaul and move some players on. Maybe starting with Stephens, another Dyche target offering nothing whatsoever.
Edit
Despite the Football, this season's highlight must be the First Goal Sweep!
