Re: Today's football
As parlous (or indeed perilous) as our situation looked just a few weeks ago, I am convinced that all will be fine at t'Turf for next season in The Premier League.
Sheffield were virtually down before Christmas and, as good as the point was for BFS against Manure today, they are too far adrift and will be visiting Deadwood next season. Their GD alone is worth - 1 point.
That leaves Fulham. No win since November 2nd ! After Everton, the next three games will decide whether they stay up with games against us, Sheffield and Palace. A maximum of 4 points there with some very difficult games after that. No, sorry Scott, a 9 point gap at this stage is TOO great. You're going down !

Re: Today's football

Re: Today's football
Why are people worried if Fulham win tonight. They'll still be 8 points behind us, the same as they were 2 weeks ago with 2 games less to play. If anyone should be worried it would be Newcastle.

Re: Today's football
Fulham could play five more extra matches than us this season and still not catch us stop worrying the current bottom three are doomed

Re: Today's football
Everton really are a boring club going absolutely nowhere...very surprised Ancelotti took that job.

Re: Today's football
Everton players: no desire, no intensity.
They’re just don’t seem that bothered.
I think Fulham will face a completely different proposition come Wednesday.

Re: Today's football
Not watching the game, I've already treated the other half to 3 games today! They are a bit of a 'meh' club, but this season they've got a great chance to make the top 4 - probably due to the weakness of other sides as much as Everton's quality. I'd expect Chelsea to kick on under Tuchel and make the cut though.

Re: Today's football
Fulham move the ball around really nicely but dont have a lot of cutting edge and always look like they can let a soft one in.
As a few have mentioned, Everton look poor tonight, they seem really lethargic and lacking ideas going forward without C-L to lead the attack. I assume Ancelotti is going to "have a few words" during the interval.

Re: Today's football
Ancelotti had his safe stolen from his house the other day, I bet his tactics booklet was in it.

Re: Today's football
Richarleson 4 touches in the first half, they need to give him the ball
Re: Today's football
Everton have no chance of top 4, even when all around them are faltering.
It’s a shame because I quite like them as a club and they are a historical ‘big club’, but they’re nowhere near good enough.

Fulham playing very well.
Lookman is a tremendous player, one of the big sides will be in for him soon.
