Draws are no good to the likes of Fulham WBA and Sheff U...
Think you can add Newcastle to that list.
If Fulham get out of it, I think it'll be at Toon's expense.

"Robbie Brady is the only player in the Premier League this season to be subbed on and off in two separate games. Ouch."
Taken from BBC report
Did they add "because he's goddam awful"?

Or even southampton?
Though I think Fulham needed to win tonight.

Exactly! if any of those sides are going to survive then they'll need to put 2-3 wins together, and none of them have shown enough to suggest that's within their compass, Fulham have lost the same amount of games we have (11) but they have 10 draws this season, and that's been their achilles heel, if they could have only turned 2/3 of those stalemates into 3 points, they'd be up around Burnley, Brighton & Newcastle in the points tallies, that's the difference we have turned draws into wins, whereas they haven't for the most part.

It's games like this which makes me question the objective of what we are about.
Are we trying to improve ? Are we glad to be just hanging on ? Are we waiting for something to happen in the future or is that just it ?
Scrappy points here, a win there and a loss Inbetween ?

Anyone else think Barnes got a shade lucky with the goal? Bad first touch seemed to fool the keeper into going down and giving him the time to slot home.

I kind of agree, but I like to think it's a case of making do with what we have and how we are, getting ourselves safe this season (fingers crossed) and then seeing exactly what the new owners are about in the summer. Come September mind, we could all be even more fed up!!!

To be fair we've just played our 12th game this year. That's a game every 4 days on average. We've played weekend, midweek since the start of the new year. That's heavy going and I thought we looked a bit like that tonight. Take a point and be content. We're trying to improve I think. Some changes will be made in the summer, i.e. Brady, maybe Bardsley, to push the squad competitively and keep players on their toes. This year is a strange season after last season and the short summer turn around. Don't doubt the achievement of the management team in getting us to where we are this year. It's been an incredibly tough season up to now.

Regardless of Fulham’s league position they’re in a decent run of form, although to many draws, not easy to beat recently.West Brom are a different proposition there form is awful and they should be there for the taking
Totally agree. I think folk are forgetting this team just beat Everton away & have had recent draws at West Ham & Spurs.

Because none of them equate Burnley with having a problem, we have I am amazed that we are now classed so much as part of the Premier furniture. That would have been step two on the progress ladder.
Fulham are of interest to Fulham fans, but also everyone else around them.

Cheer up mate. We’ve just played a team that beat Everton away a few days ago and are generally very hard to beat with most draws in the league (I think). We did that whilst missing our captain, main striker, most mobile striker, having our our right winger hauled off, then his replacement being hauled off after 24 minutes due to an injury (according to Dyche, don’t believe it personally). Good result in my opinion.

I thought apart from the last 20 minutes we dominated them. They fluked a goal against run of play and other than that Pope had nothing to do. Sgould have been 3 points really but the last 20 we ran out of steam and subs to make a difference (not the game for the youngsters in a nervy 1-1 we mustn't lose). Had Vydra been on the bench he'd have been on for the final 15-20

A very pragmatic performance from the most pragmatic of managers. I too thought we controlled it with good energy in the middle. I think WBA are sunk and I expect us to go for the jugular on Saturday. The lowest risk approach to an eight point gap which could be eleven before Fulham play again.

A team down to the bare bones and running on empty for the last 20 minutes. I think that was a point well earned. Need more bodies available for Saturday and rest but that game is just over 60 hours away.

Spot on
And he suggested in his post match interview that he took the time to control it
