Re: Paul Robinson

Re: Paul Robinson
I don’t like seeing players sent off... but that was a red all day long.

Re: Paul Robinson
"The former Spurs and England goalkeeper, "
Though I reckon they've got the wrong bloke and just put that in there for content.
The article is a sham and the website looks a joke tbh

Re: Paul Robinson
He’s come across quite well and complimentary about us in the past but he’s 100% wrong on this.
It was a red card all day long.

Re: Paul Robinson
They have surely quoted the wrong Paul Robinson? As mentioned on the thread Paul Robinson, goalkeeper, has done some punditry work with Sky and comes across well and been complimentary towards us.
Re: Paul Robinson
It does make you wonder where Robinson thinks the dividing line should be. Clearly one-on-one with the keeper 20 yards from goal is a red card offence for the defender who commits a foul. Clearly, according to Robinson, one-on-one with the keeper isn't anywhere near a red card. Where does he draw the line?

Re: Paul Robinson
Goalkeepers aren't subject to the normal laws of football, hence his comment
Re: Paul Robinson
At the speed the ball was going before the handball, I'd bet Vydra would have only needed 2 touches max before either shooting or rounding the keeper, so this 50 yards from goal issue is b0llocks
Re: Paul Robinson
I think it might be paul robinson the former west brom full back that was talking shite for obvious reasons

Re: Paul Robinson
Jimmy Mullen has said he would have put his house on Vydra scoring so thats good enough for me - def red card.

Re: Paul Robinson
I’ve done a bit of googling on “Paul Robinson Football Insider”
There are quite a few articles returned and they all reference “former England keeper” and one even mentions him working under Sam at Rovers

Re: Paul Robinson
Some on here need to read the article ... here is the opening paragraph and the 2nd paragraph...
"Paul Robinson is fuming over the “joke of a red card” West Brom defender Semi Ajayi received at Burnley on Saturday.
The former Spurs and England goalkeeper, speaking exclusively to Football Insider claimed the “ridiculous” decision could be costly with the 27-year-old now suspended"
Hmmmmm sort of explains it don'tcha think
