Gordon Ramsay's Bank Balance
Anyone watching this? Seems rather complicated for a simpleton like me.
And he just called Falkirk a "sh1thole".
That should get him in the Daily Mail tomorrow.

No the Kelpies were only completed in 2013, the Falkirk Wheel opened in 2002, crikey! I didn't realise it was nearly 20 years.conyoviejo wrote: βThu Feb 25, 2021 10:22 pmThe Kelpies weren't there when we visited . ..It was our first trip in Motorhome touring Scotland in 2007 .. How time flies.

Shouldn't Ramsay be in a kitchen cooking food for needy causes, the obnoxious tw@t traps up at any charity event that moves preaching to the rest of us.

As the pictures in the thread show. Kelpies are mythical creatures of Scotland.whentheballmoves wrote: βFri Feb 26, 2021 11:19 pmWhat are the kelpies and the Falkirk wheel? May be popping to Scotland again in the summer with the kids if the bet Fred cup is up and running again...
The wheel replaced 11 locks on the canal with boat trips going up and down. Engineering brilliance.

Not watched it so can't comment.
Ramsey is a fantastic Chef though, and I must admit I did enjoy his road trips with Gino D' whatssisname and the French bloke.

Not been a chef for the last decade or more tbh. He is a TV executive, presenter and business man. Like him or loathe him one thing he does know how to do is make money.Vintage Claret wrote: βSat Feb 27, 2021 1:24 amNot watched it so can't comment.

Re: Gordon Ramsay's Bank Balance
Falkirk is an absolute hovel to be fair. Some nice places in Scotland, but this is one of the places ruined by by its dependency on state benefits. Check out "california" on Google maps if you fancy a laugh
