They break at speed and 4 times its been 3 on 3 . Why are we not playing with at least one holding midfielder ? Against a team with sooo much pace , surely you'd play something like 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 .

The last game of the season: Sheffield United v Burnley, could be a vital game at this rate.....
That and Fulham's horrendously tough run in might save us.

Our one and only salvation during this dire season has been our defending, once that goes as today we are in very serious trouble.

Any chance Brownhill can get himself in the same postcode as the man who has the ball out wide?

No pressure on the cross at all.

This is excrptulional from them. Not an overall bad performance. Just too much pace. Not many teams can do that.

We're actually playing a lot better in attack today than vs West Brom and we're definitely not playing the same long balls we usually do. It's the opposite today, with our defence looking strangely naive.

When you see the team sheets and see, Son, Moura, Bale and Kane as a front four, you worry but when you see them playing as they are doing, quite frankly there is nothing you can do. They to me are the best front four we have ever played against.

Let’s just remind ourselves this is Tottenham at their place and if we didn’t play like this we’d go down and if we didn’t set up with this horrible 442 we’d also go down.

Thanks bitches.

Or Mee doing his job and forcing him offside only for Taylor to play him on.

Considering Mee was the only one stepping up out of Sync with everyone else and leaving Bale unmarked.

If he hadn’t then he would have Bale marked.

He also been caught in no mans land a few times when Tottenham counter forcing Tarkowski to try and cover for him pulling him out of position.

Listen to what Redknapp is saying. Massive hole between our midfield and defence. Exactly what I was saying further up the thread.

I was laughed at last week when suggesting playing the U23s at Spurs to give the lads a rest.

This chasing shadows isn't going to do us any good for the up coming games.

They’re quality teams but there do seem to be some sides that Dyche seems to struggle to set up against, at times.

I’d be interested to see how we compare against these teams to others in an around the bottom, over the years. It feels like we get more than our share of these sort of hidings, but perhaps that’s not actually the case.

It’s chalk and cheese to our usually solid defence.

I can't believe people think we aren't doing to badly because of how Spurs are playing. We have been w@nk from back to front and could easily be 6 down. It's an easy game when you are afforded all the time in the world to pick a pass and build a move. Even more so when you have a few quality players. Where's our press, where's our up and at 'em?
