Club shop facemasks
Has anybody purchased any of these from the club?
What's the quality like on them?
I presume the club is only doing deliveries?

Re: Club shop facemasks
Nothing special, and a bit overpriced, but as good as any I have seen, apart from the special masks that give greater protection.
Re: Club shop facemasks
Probably the comfiest I have worn. Sometimes forget it’s on my face!

Pricey, but good quality and I've had a couple for ages now. BUT if you can get black it's better than white which is constantly in the wash as soon look grubby. Black were sold out when I got mine (Because that's how things always seem to work for me!!)

Very comfortable and glad I bought one. They're especially comfortable around the ears

Re: Club shop facemasks
You'd probably be better with a ffp2 / n95 mask, given what they are for, like...

I was going to get one but last time I checked it was a 3pack for £15. Not for me.

Got a pack of three as a birthday present - good quality and as someone else said it does show your colours.

Looking to get them for my teenage lad who goes back to school next week.
Another chance to show there's only one team in West Yorkshire.

Is the money from them still going to charity?

Re: Club shop facemasks
I got one and it’s brilliant. Perfect fit/shape, comfy, good quality, mainly forget I’m wearing it which certainly can’t be said for the disposables I wore beforehand.
Pricey but I’m glad I got a decent one given how long this has dragged on for.

Re: Club shop facemasks
Maybe it's good you got white as reusable ones should be washed at least once per day! White ones seem like a good purchase as a reminder.Dark Cloud wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 7:06 pmPricey, but good quality and I've had a couple for ages now. Re: Club shop facemasks
Yeah true, but not always easy to do when they're kicking around on the floor of the car somewhere or stuck under the seat, just ready for when you need to rummage and grab one as you arrive at Sainsbury's!the_fat_shearer wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 11:41 amMaybe it's good you got white as reusable ones should be washed at least once per day! Assuming you have a manual car, hang it over the gear stick, I found that a great place for mine, and never forget to take it with me when I go out to the shops.Dark Cloud wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 11:47 amnot always easy to do when they're kicking around on the floor of the car somewhere or stuck under the seat

Re: Club shop facemasks
Why anyone would want to waste good money on a face mask when you can just pick one up of the floor is beyond me

Re: Club shop facemasks
I managed to get a couple sent out here as unlike the freedom you have in the UK, we still need to wear masks outdoors in 34C and 80% humidity despite only having 172 community cases since August!!
The fabric therefore is very breathable in these conditions and have lasted longer than my other masks. They are my preferred masks but they are like your favourite boxers, you only get to wear them once before they are in the wash basket and you don't see them again for a while and have to make do with the rest so I normally only wear them (the masks) on special occasions.
