When Jarred Bowen was 15 on twitter...
When he was 15, he used a word that's offensive and the FA have been made aware of it.
Probably going to get a ban for that one.

What's more offensive is his spelling of father (farther)

Lets get a list going - heres mine
I nearly blinded my friend when I shot him with a BB gun. This is not an example I wish to set and it certainly does not portray the values and principles that I hold.

I am so glad that social media wasn't around when I was a teenager. Kids who have grown up with sharing absolutely every thought they have on social media are going to get crucified for it if they ever become successful.
And perhaps not even that successful. I have no idea who Jarred Bowen is

I had a friend that did that too. I think it might have been an air rifle, but clearly you aren't the only one to have caused that accident.....claptrappers_union wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 11:15 am

I'm not sure about that tweet. If it had been written by a black person, it makes a lot of sense, criticising a white person for pretending to be black. Pretty stupid though, even at 15.

I wonder if he's related to the West Ham player, Jarrod Bowen.

When I was 15 I put a turd through the letterbox of somebody who refused to return a football.

Things that really puzzle me about this.
1. If I was a professional footballer I'd make damn sure that any historic tweets where I'd said something dicey would be deleted.
2. As above but with the media team at the club giving his social media team an audit.
3. Bet he gets banned, which is ridiculous for something he did 10 years ago.

What made it worse was I fell off the stool as I was defecating against the door, could I someday have that back as well ?RalphCoatesComb wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 7:07 pmIt was YOU, you little ****. You're still not having your ball back

It's already in the public domain.
If you're asking why it's now being noticed, I'm going to guess a fan from an opposing club went looking for something, that's what happened to Andre Gray when an Everton fan I think it was went digging.

I could be mistaken, but wasn’t that a Liverpool fan, not long (minutes) after we’d done em over?GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 10:25 amIt's already in the public domain.

Re: When Jarred Bowen was 15 on twitter...
If that's the case, that a 'football fan' discovered the tweet, or went looking for something like it, that suggests someone with a particularly nasty streak.
Presumably they trawl through social media looking for offensive posts, wait until an opportune time (such as Andre Gray scoring his first Premier League goal), then tell a journalist who of course can't wait to get a gold star from his editor. What should have been a joyous memory for Gray is now forever tinted with his homophobic quotes from his distant past.
How come these people aren't getting called out? To me they're like crooks, operating in our midst but unable to be identified, causing people unnecessary worry.

The Andre Gray case highlights the need for professional sports people to 'clean' their social media accounts.Hipper wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 11:54 amIf that's the case, that a 'football fan' discovered the tweet, or went looking for something like it, that suggests someone with a particularly nasty streak.

I've seen what Bowen said when he was 15, you'll find worse if you spend just 5mins browsing twitter.
The fact is people will happily spend time looking for dirt, professional sports people need to take away that dirt and deal with it before someone else does.

Re: When Jarred Bowen was 15 on twitter...
Gray’s tweets were significantly worse and he was older than Bowen. He’ll get a telling off and maybe some enforced community work.
