Newcastle playing well, and they probably should be ahead, Lloris keeping Spurs in it with a great double save.

Hendrick yet again on the bench, as is ASM who I guess will come on 2nd half if Newcastle need a goal.

And yes the Geordies look up for this today.

Tis truly the season of miricles if Joelinton has scored.

Harry Kane is just a superb striker. Aside from Shearer I've never seen another English player strike the ball as well.

2-1 at HT, the bad news for us is that it's unlikely to finish that way, there's plenty more goals in this game yet.

But if Spurs can go on to win it'll soften the blow of our defeat slightly.

Not enjoying relying on other teams to do us a favour though.

Fulham won't lose today.

It’s all irrelevant really. Burnley were very disappointing today, but we won’t need any more points to stay up.

33? Need another win. 36 will do it.

33 isn't going to keep us up.

No I don't enjoying hoping other teams do us a turn either, next week is the key game for us, win that and it makes it very tough for Newcastle to catch us given their remaining fixtures.

The rumours are Grealish is back for Villa today, and if he is that should give them a big boost.

Hmm! I'm not sure 33 will be enough to keep us up, of course even with today's defeat it's unthinkable we'll not collect any more points in the last 8 games, I'd expect at worst a win and a couple of draws, we are now scoring goals, so that's encouraging, and we surely can't defend as badly for the rest of the season as we did today.

I think it has a Fulham win all over it unfortunately.

However, got to agree with the bookies - they have Fulham to stay up and Newcastle to drop.

I dread to think how our defence will cope with Saint Maximin running at them next week after our performance today against Southampton.

If score stays the same at 2-1 and with no Grealish for Villa then Fulham will see the game as a great chance.
