Getting through to the ticket office
Can anyone advise how to get through, I tried 7 times yesterday and each time eventually got a voicemail box "number 532...."
Is the number definitely 01282 446800?

I've tried, it's almost like they don't want you getting through, imo the new owners I'm guessing don't want a telephone in the building, online only.
Re: Getting through to the ticket office
Sounds like the right number to me. Is it worth an email, alternatively keep ringing. I’m sure some of the regulars on this board will help shortly. Hope you get sorted.

Just asking but if that's the way forward then what's happening in the case of foundation, as members will know it's first on the phone for priority away tickets ?

I suspect the foundation is doomed to a slow death. The new owners wont want to have a lounge unavailable to corporates because its reserved for the foundation. Maybe it will get moved to a marquee in the car park....alwaysaclaret wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 10:21 amExactly, email / online only.

I suspect with their present approach the new owners will be doomed to a slow death cos they'll end up with a crowd of 1800, fourth division days.ŽižkovClaret wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 10:34 amI suspect the foundation is doomed to a slow death. I don't think it's the new owners. The ticket office haven't answered the phone for years.alwaysaclaret wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 10:15 amI've tried, it's almost like they don't want you getting through, imo the new owners I'm guessing don't want a telephone in the building, online only.

Re: Getting through to the ticket office
I wouldn't bother to be honest.
The ticket office is a shambles. Takes an absolute age to get anything done in there.... and that's just buying a ticket. That process should take seconds, but instead takes ages - sometimes over five minutes, and i know in isolation that doesn't sound a long time, but if you put it into perspective, it's longer than a week in jail. Imagine if there was a massive queue, say on a match day?
Buying a match ticket should be absolutely seamless and efficient to the point of the queue never actually stopping moving. Its the only thing they do, it is absolutely the core of the business....and it's an absolute cluster f*ck of a place. It's almost as if they don't really want to be bothered by it all.

Re: Getting through to the ticket office
I have never had anything but great help with queries / tickets etc etc when calling in the Ticket office ... 99% of the time very efficiently ...bobinho wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 8:51 pmI wouldn't bother to be honest.

I tend not to ring up though ... because it was always a bind like most similar set ups ... press 1 for this 2 for that etc etc ...
But as far as going to the ticket office in person is concerned ... never really had a problem

Re: Getting through to the ticket office
They’ve decided to stop selling them all online.
They stopped selling them in person yesterday but somehow managed to get one today for a family member. Had to pay in full as DD is now no longer an option either.

Probably that really good tickets system they spent a load of cash on.

Re: Getting through to the ticket office
No idea why online has stopped. They were advertising them on Saturday but you couldn’t actually buy one. Rather frustrating.
My dad enquired about tickets for 3 of us before the 19th July and was told he’d have to wait. I think they have only been in general sale for a week or two haven’t they yet we still can’t buy them. Problem I have I can’t get down to the ticket office midweek. I should have gone in before the game with hindsight but then again I’m not sure it was open. I want to be able to view what’s available and see if we’re happy with them. If the only seats available are right up in the upper tiers they are no good for my dad.

Re: Getting through to the ticket office
I can sort of understand the payment in full, although general sale hasn’t been on that long. However, no online sales seems stupid, yet they want to go cashlesscricketfieldclarets wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 11:53 pmCan’t buy online now. Only in the shop and payment in full now.

If they carry on like this, they will be cashless (and fanless).
What is the matter with these people ? I don't think I've known it be so difficult or convoluted
to do anything remotely connected with BFC.

Re: Getting through to the ticket office
I was told via email that On line sales stopped over a week ago, because they were worried there was not time to post season tickets out.
So after Phase 2 renewals, I think online they went on general sale for about 1 week.
For some of that week the ticket office was closed.
A blind man on a gallopping horse must know Season Ticket sales must be down.
If anyone else from the Ticket Office says" Just bob down and we will sort you out" I will scream.

Re: Getting through to the ticket office
Indeed. At least the apparent move to selling away tickets online only looks a positive step, although this may be an interim measure due to timescales etc2 Bee Holed wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 8:30 amI was told via email that On line sales stopped over a week ago, because they were worried there was not time to post season tickets out.

Well, at least they can’t blame this farce on Anthony Faircloughh, Daz Bentley et al.
What a joke.

Re: Getting through to the ticket office
The actual staff in the ticket office deserve so much more reward than what they get trying to carry out the instructions from above the having to constantly rectify issues for people.
Clearly it is far to logical to allow the staff in the ticket department to run it themselves.

Re: Getting through to the ticket office
We’re in an age where 8 years ago I was able to buy tickets virtually / online to see Good Charlotte in a city 4 hours away (virtually was the only ticket delivery available) have the barcode downloaded to my phone, and scanned on the way in. Now as much as I question my decision to see Good Charlotte live, I can’t believe the performance you’re all having to go through to get tickets.
On the plus side, I’m pretty sure ALK can’t either, and I’m sure this kind of feedback is driving Pace nuts.
I’m sure improvements are already on the way to make things more seamless.
(No offense but if we’re still ringing up places to see if tickets are available we need to change our own behaviors
too)

1 account creation issues(bizarre juxtaposition re account already exists /can't reset password as no account exists)
2 online ordering of a season ticket wasn't possible
