Re: Programme price increase
Absolutely ludicrous. How can they expect us to pay another 50p for a programme when they won't spend 50p on a much needed winger.
I'm absolutely fuming!.........Honestly I am!

Re: Programme price increase
Is it as long as that? Not many in the Premier League at £3 and Southampton’s have been £4 for some time.

Programmes are really quite costly to produce. I'd be surprised if the club were making 50p profit on each one.

Re: Programme price increase
I used to buy one every game, got out of the habit in about 2015 and have bought only a few since (the Europa games and the first game I took my daughter on come to mind). I think I will give it a go against Brighton just to see what the content is like nowadays.

Re: Programme price increase
£66.50 over a season not including cup games that’s 20 pints. I know where my money will be going
Re: Programme price increase

Dont ever let people rip you off.
When /if companys try and take the p1ss, withdraw your custom and spend it elsewhere.

Yes quite FD, don't think I've bought a programme for many years over priced and to full of adverts.Funkydrummer wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 10:02 pmDo you have to subscribe and have 5,000 loyalty points to acquire one to print at home ?

Re: Programme price increase
The price increase at 50p is actually greater because the programme is now a lot smaller than it was.

I read on the Clitheroe CC Facebook page Macca that after discussions with Lowerhouse CC that you are not allowed to take your own alcohol!!MACCA wrote: ↑Fri Aug 13, 2021 9:05 amGet tha sen a box bang it in the fridge over night you should be good to go, or even grab yourself a cooler box too and bandy them in there with your butties and snacks and you'll still be saving money from.s £25 out lay for the all of the above.

Re: Programme price increase
Having liaised with our colleagues at Lowerhouse we respectively request that supporters refrain from bringing personal alcohol into the ground for the Final. Clitheroe will have various drinks offers available on the day of the final, as well as a cans bar.
Both clubs feel grassroots cricket has endured enough over the last 18 months and we look forward to you all supporting local cricket

Re: Programme price increase
For me, I’m retiring from programme collecting. My collection is by no means a full one. For 50+ years I’ve really enjoyed collecting. But logistics and last seasons missing physical programme. Perfect time for retirement.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Aug 13, 2021 11:32 amThe price increase at 50p is actually greater because the programme is now a lot smaller than it was.
Re: Programme price increase
if you're nit picking, that's only a request and you can bet many do in their ruck sacks or spirits in a bag.The Enclosure wrote: ↑Fri Aug 13, 2021 12:19 pmHaving liaised with our colleagues at Lowerhouse we respectively request that supporters refrain from bringing personal alcohol into the ground for the Final. They do need support and people should put money behind the bar, but if clubs ( and other organisations/fares etc ) didnt serve crap beer in plastic cups for £5 a Pint people wouldn't refrain from spending.

Re: Programme price increase
My immediate thought - where has the other half of the programme gone? Shrinkflation and Inflation combined.
Not good.
Not good.
Re: Programme price increase
Programme has been excellent for a few seasons. Good read and a classy product. Very disappointed today with the new effort.
