Superleague grand final
6pm old Trafford tonight.
Catalan v St Helens
Should be a cracking game. I make the Stains slight favourites, but hoping Catalan Dragons can turn it on and shove it up the Stains.

Should be a goodun but hope Saints don’t fold in the last 5 minutes like they did in Magic Weekend at Newcastle.

Absolutely brilliant game ,puts football to shame, unlucky Catalan,Stains get all the luck again with an awful play the ball decision given against Catalan in the last few minutes, but well done to them.

A great tough game of rugby league, stars all round on both sides.
A Rochdale Hornets supporter but saw little success at the Athletics Ground.

Re: Superleague grand final
I enjoyed it as a neutral. Very fast paced for big lads.
Re: Superleague grand final
Was that the incident where the Catalan player had his head stuck between the Saints players legs? Or should I say the Saints player had clamped the head of the Catalan player between his knees!conyoviejo wrote: ↑Sat Oct 09, 2021 8:03 pmAbsolutely brilliant game ,puts football to shame, unlucky Catalan,Stains get all the luck again with an awful play the ball decision given against Catalan in the last few minutes, but well done to them.

Yes,that was it Leisure. The ref had been great ,but got conned by the Stains player.Thats my take on it anyway being a neutral.

Re: Superleague grand final
Makes up for Tomkins getting a penalty when the claimed to have been taken out whilst jumping to catch the high bomb.
Felt like the ref was giving Catalans most of the calls throughout the game but I need to watch it back to validate whether that was true or not.
Anyway doesn’t matter now.
Saints have won three in a row!!

Re: Superleague grand final
Thought the ref got most things spot on and had a good game but for the play the ball incident ,you will have to replay that and the other incident with Tomkins and get back to me with your thoughts Jack.Father Jack wrote: ↑Sat Oct 09, 2021 10:34 pmMakes up for Tomkins getting a penalty when the claimed to have been taken out whilst jumping to catch the high bomb.
