Not selling Kane is haunting Spurs I suspect.
Also employing their 7th? choice as manager probably isn't inspiring the players much
No shots on target for Spurs

There's no way that was a cleanly hit shot from Zaha, but they all count when they go in

Eric Dier is absolutely woeful. Sanchez was dropped for him and he was excellent against us on Wednesday.

I see they skipped past the half time handbags, which is when I suspect the City players heads went.

Still performing his invisible man act I note.

The one Spurs player who showed any intent today was Moura, and bizarrely he was hooked after 60 minutes.

Not a single effort on target for Spurs in the entire 90 minutes, which for a team with their talent is :x

Hard to judge whether Utd's defence has improved or not given they had barely anything to do, although it can't be a coincidence that Varane returns and they keep a clean sheet.

Varane back, Mcfred in the middle, Pogba not playing and Bruno able to support the attack with 2 very good strikers up front.

Really I was only half listening/watching so missed that, and it was only highlights of course.

Also I’m switching the post mortem off as I really can’t bear those three.

Some very big problems at Newcastle, lots of work to be done to that squad and the next managerial appointment is crucial.

Norwich, Newcastle, Watford, Southampton, Leeds with possibly Aston Villa and Leicester, I would like to think that we can finish above that list from what I’ve seen so far after 9/10 games into the season.

I never realised just how good and composed that Wood finish was for the first, until seeing the highlights and MOTD .Absolutely class from a man who has struggled in previous weeks. Form is temporary. Class is permanent, as they say.

Was born here when his dad played for us but brought up just south of Leicester and at a guess say he’s a Leicester City fan.

Laporte has been lucky in the past. Players from a lesser team doing some of the nasty things he has done would have walked. I am pleased they lost.

Absolute pathetic that this was omitted from the highlights. It's all part of the game and the spectacle. Can't believe a football match is being censored. Just showing all the pretty bits. The feisty bits are sometimes the most entertaining and iconic images of the game. Imagine in the 70's, there would be no highlights left to show.
