Re: Serious question
Even the under 16’s would beat the lionesses.
Re: Serious question
Bit like the Chelsea game, 9 times out of ten we would get beat so there is always a chance.
Re: Serious question
No
But I understand what you’re saying. Would a ‘team’ that play together week in week out beat a team of individuals.
I’d say that Burnley would beat many past England teams because they were a team of talented individuals, incapable of playing effectively together.
However this England team is a team. And it’s a team we should be proud of as a nation, both on and off the pitch

Re: Serious question
No, there's a reason nearly all of the England squad are playing for the bigger clubs, it's because they're better players than our lads.

Re: Serious question
A 5-0 win over a league one standard outfit has certainly got everyone drooling into their cornflakes.

Re: Serious question
No Burnley team thats ever existed would beat any England team that’s ever existed. None of our current players are good enough to to play for England.Inchy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 1:01 pmNo

Yeah course they are that’s why they are all in the squad.Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 2:56 pmNonsense not good enough for England ?

Ben Mee are you for real, I love Ben and think he’s a brilliant player and captain but he’s nowhere near England standard as are some of the players who keep getting call ups.

If we were to play them then one thing I am fairly sure of is that it would cure my current insomnia.

Our last top flight Title winning team would have had a good go at Graham Taylors team I reckon.PadihamThickNeck wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 2:39 pmNo Burnley team thats ever existed would beat any England team that’s ever existed. None of our current players are good enough to to play for England.
