Lets hope it's Burnley fans in the home end and not Newcastle.

Problems in the JML against Villa with away fans in the rarely used hospitality seats. OK for the most part, but when they joined in with singing 'Burnley's a sh*thole, I want to go home' when we were 3-0 safe to say it didn't go down well!

There are probably additional seats available at the TO but not showing online. Also, last week it was showing as nearly a sell-out online and then another 100 or so seats appeared (probably from Commercial and Group Booking seats not taken).

We have a huge problem with single seats at Burnley. The last 700 or so seem to be all single, I think the TO withhold some blocks of seats so people buy the singles first.

I needed 3 together and took a chance on waiting for a full block to come up, luckily like you say they did.

There will be loads of Geordies in the home end sadly. An issue I think the club needs to address. I know many have travelled away to watch Burnley and sat in the home ends, and behaved and no issue. Next Sunday will be different all together. It will be a massive game for us completely different context of a match.

Need a minimum of 10 Clarets points to get a ticket.
I wasn't awarded any for the Brighton game I attended first game of the season and it's wiped out any I ready had, so I can't buy online.

Generally I'd agree, in normal games.

This isn't likely to be a normal game.

The Turf needs to be full of Clarets, but if they would rather we stay up then Leeds could make for an interesting afternoon, although as GDIADJ says even people who are Burnley fans can't get tickets as they don't have enough points??? Although I'm sure someone said geordies were advertising on Twitter how easy it was to get tickets in the home areas.

The club responded to the Newcastle fans by putting a 10 point necessity for buying tickets on.

Absolutely should be a sell out, it will go down to the last day now regardless, so the team needs us.

Also it could be the last game we have in the Premier league for a long time, possibly ever.

Look at the likes of Oldham, it doesn't take long for it to allgo properly pear shaped.
( I understand that's an extreme, but it could happen )
They'll be Oldham fans telling there children, or grand children they used to watch Oldham in the Premier League no so long ago, now they're turning out at places like Dover and Wealdstone.

I've just spoken to the ticket office.
All tickets are currently sold out.

The system failed to award me the standard 10 points for the Brighton home game, so that automatically disqualified me from being able to get a ticket for the Newcastle game.
All of my previous purchase history has also been wiped off the system at some point, probably with the takeover or ticket system being changed.

For anyone who's a casual ticket buyer it's worth checking your purchase history online, potentially it's not there or the points aren't being added correctly.

The lad on the phone was very apologetic and appeared to be genuinely confused as to what's happened with my account and why the points weren't added after the Brighton game.
He's going to put those points on for me, at my request, so I don't have this same issue next season when the club decides to put in a minimum points requirement for home tickets again.

They've done the requirement just for the Newcastle game to prevent away fans in the home end which I understand and don't have an issue with.

I have an over 65 seat in the Bob Lord Stand. I’m away for this game - anyone in the Harrogate area want to borrow my card?

Fair play to them, I didn't know they had.

I have no issues with fans in home ends under normal circs, as has been said just behave, but next Sunday is completely different. Needs to be full of Clarets.

I emailed the club this week after the terrible behaviour of the Liverpool fans in the Bob Lord this season, this is the reply I got from the club.

Yes, I am in the Holte End for this one. I'll be quiet and respectful but it will be difficult when we slot home the winner in the third minute of added time.

I'm in the Bob Lord and a friend of a certain age is after coming on. Will be driving down on Friday evening from Newcastle so passing by Harrogate. If the offer stands I'll collect the card and give it to my pal - he would be delighted.
