As soon as they said tickets against Bastards won’t be on sale yet, I instantly thought they’d try to move us ST holders from the CFS. For any Cricketfield season ticket holders on here what stand would you prefer to get relocated to if they give Blackburn the whole stand?

Theres not a chance a fan of that shower will be sitting in a seat I've paid for.
I'd go the opposite way. Remove the seats and make them sit on the floor (yes I know they'd stand) but you get my poin..

That will at least give you time to change your mind again. We don't play at Ewood until next March!Transpennine wrote: ↑Fri Jul 22, 2022 3:39 pmI keep saying that. However in early November I'll probably change my mind.

Re: Home match against Blackburn
My question was regarding the homematch in November.
I will hope that the match will be moved to Sunday then i go could go and see Preston or Wigan play Saturday.
Have a nice weekend.

Are Preston playing Wigan on the same day as us v Blackburn? That's never gonna happen. Yes, we'll be playing on the Sunday.BurnleyDenmark wrote: ↑Fri Jul 22, 2022 4:35 pmMy question was regarding the homematch in November.

Re: Home match against Blackburn
Current fixtures that Lancashire Police will have to contend with on Saturday 12th November
Burnley v Blackburn
Preston v Millwall
Accrington v Sheffield Wednesday
Morecambe v Portsmouth
At least one of those is going to change

Had a think about this and changed my mind, I now think they will give them the full end and leave gaps either side, whys it only Lancashire police that can’t police a Derby

Personally when it comes to us v them, I don't care where I sit, if it's on the Turf.

Behind the goal in the CFS. It’s what I’ve paid for, so that’s where I’ll sit thanks.

Re: Home match against Blackburn
Heard from someone who works at the ticket office that they are giving B@stard fans the whole CFS after last season against Arsenal they don’t want a repeat.
ST holders in that stand will be offered tickets elsewhere in the stand for that one game. That’s why they aren’t selling tickets for that game because season ticket holders in the CFS will take up a big amount of the walk on tickets.
This isn’t going to go down well with people who have season tickets in that stand !

As far as I’m concerned, I’ll request a full refund of my season tickets If I can’t sit in my seat.ArthurShelby wrote: ↑Fri Jul 22, 2022 9:32 pmHeard from someone who works at the ticket office that they are giving B@stard fans the whole CFS after last season against Arsenal they don’t want a repeat.

Re: Home match against Blackburn
If the two posts suggesting the CFS being away fans only are true, then I suggest that people contact the club for clarification and if necessary ask for an an explanation and encourage them that it's a very poor idea. There is still time to change any decisions that have been made.
If it happens once, then all of a sudden it starts to happen on a regular basis when clubs with bigger followings are in town.
A Lee Hoos style thought process.

Re: Home match against Blackburn
I too have a ST in the CF, and for the record, I do not do drugs and never have.
Like Zlatan, I sit right behind the goal. I have purchased my seat for every game during the 2022/23 season, if the club try to move me for this game, surely they will be breach of some kind or contract?
If this were to happen, I would also be seeking a full ST refund, and that's me done with footy.
Why should I be messed about, just because the stewards and Police couldn't do their jobs against the likes of Hanover and Arsenal, and may now cheese off 2000 fans because they aren't up to their jobs?

This won’t happen. And certainly no decision will have been made 4 months before the actual game. But people will still believe scaremongering

I expect there is something in the T&Cs that allows the club to offer you another seat if they cant offer you the one on your season ticket.Barry_Chuckle wrote: ↑Fri Jul 22, 2022 10:08 pmI too have a ST in the CF, and for the record, I do not do drugs and never have.

My advice is to get in quick whilst most people are moaning and bagsy one of the better seats that are available like the James Hargreaves Upper where the view is excellent

Re: Home match against Blackburn
Can’t see anything specific in the ST t&c but section 9.1 could the one that covers them for changes
9.1 The Club reserves the right to change these Conditions of Issue from time to time, and shall notify you of such changes if they materially affect your rights as a consumer.

Re: Home match against Blackburn
I think you may have to move seat without the club breaching their contract and the fault surely lies with idiot fans rather than police not doing their jobsBarry_Chuckle wrote: ↑Fri Jul 22, 2022 10:08 pmI too have a ST in the CF, and for the record, I do not do drugs and never have.

They haven't asked for the whole end. They wanted the usual away enclosure but with stable facilities on the cricket field.Devils_Advocate wrote: ↑Fri Jul 22, 2022 3:40 pmFor any Cricketfield season ticket holders on here what stand would you prefer to get relocated to if they give Blackburn the whole stand?
Re: Home match against Blackburn
I will be prepared to be messed about for the home match. However, for the away match I will just stop at home 110 miles away from Ewood.
I have abstained from this fixture for many years now as it simply isn’t worth giving up almost a day of my time just to attend. Additionally, the police by making these games “bubble” fixtures just intensify the bad feeling towards each other from both sets of supporters.

If they were to move it Sunday go watch Accy Stanley v SW. when one of our games got cancelled I went there v Crewe - proper “up close” footy to pass the day away and a number of Stanley fans thanked me as a Claret (scarf and bobble hat gave it away) for going to support them……

Thanks for the suggestion.
I think i will stay in Blackpool for a couple of nights so any ground that i can get to by an easy trainride will do.

It won't happen they'd need at least 4 seats each, this was a picture of them at their last away game.

Re: Home match against Blackburn
Correct. Me and my mates have ST's in there for years, I will be more than unhappy if we have to move just to accomodate them. Seems a ridiculous suggestion from the outset if it isn't a windup.ArthurShelby wrote: ↑Fri Jul 22, 2022 9:32 pmHeard from someone who works at the ticket office that they are giving B@stard fans the whole CFS after last season against Arsenal they don’t want a repeat.

The home CFS is I think about 2,300 moving all of us to the other parts of the ground is going to cause a huge restriction on non-season ticket holders who for what ever reason don't have a ST but had wanted to attend. Sure I read we have shifted north of 14,000 season tickets now. The CFS is about 4,500. Leaves not many walk up tickets to be purchased.
The CFS is where the noise comes from, displacing everyone and handing over this acoustic advantage seems daft at best.
