Blackpool v Everton on Sunday
Everton won 4 - 2 away and some Everton fan's invaded the pitch at the full time whistle, I'm slowly beginning to hate this club week by week.

In fairness to Everton it isn't every game they score 4 goals so can understand them getting a bit giddy and going on the pitch.

True never thought of that, I wonder if there's going to be an open top bus parade for winning the Blackpool cupclaretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 25, 2022 8:55 amIn fairness to Everton it isn't every game they score 4 goals so can understand them getting a bit giddy and going on the pitch.

Took large numbers there filling two stands.
I hope we get that many tickets.

Re: Blackpool v Everton on Sunday
The behaviour of their fans, as well as their arrogance, has slowly made me start to dislike their fanbase in general. I know preseason doesn't mean much but looking at how they've played and their lack of signings, I wouldn't be surprised to see them in a relegation battle again this season. Wonder if Frank will make it to Christmas?

BTW - I heard this was mostly kids after player's shirts. Behaviour needs stamping out, it's dangerous.

The only way to stop it is to ban away fans, or put a moat between the pitch and the stands.
One seems more likely than the other.

Used to not mind them that much, but would love to see them sink. I didn't think they had big-city-club-delusion but nah, file with Newcastle and Arsenal.MancunianClaret wrote: ↑Mon Jul 25, 2022 10:22 amThe behaviour of their fans, as well as their arrogance, has slowly made me start to dislike their fanbase in general. I assume their parents took them to the match.
Invading the pitch really isn't on. Parents must stop encouraging this.
Also, begging signs for shirts.
What a shinty society!

The moat idea made me think of Blackpool Tower Circus at the finale when they filled the circus ring with water. But for seals not Everton hooligans.distortiondave wrote: ↑Mon Jul 25, 2022 10:25 amThe only way to stop it is to ban away fans, or put a moat between the pitch and the stands.

Any parent caught taking their kid on the pitch should be banned and fined
Looking grim again for Everton with the investment made by Forest and the experience Fulham and Bournemouth have in the premier League, hopefully they will finally get there just rewards in relegation

Probably the shock of Dele Alli scoring twice that made them invade the pitch

Since Everton pipped us to Premier League survival I've noticed quite a lot of disrespectful posts on this forum about their fans and the club itself. I know relegation hurt but Everton are great traditional club with a fantastic fan base and I for one hope they have more success this season and are nowhere near the bottom of the league.

Re: Blackpool v Everton on Sunday
Not the only way, I played cricket in South Africa for a while and around the pitch they had a few German Shepherds. There were signs saying if you invade the pitch, the dogs will be let off their leads. Funnily enough I didn’t see one intrusion all the time I was out there!!distortiondave wrote: ↑Mon Jul 25, 2022 10:25 amThe only way to stop it is to ban away fans, or put a moat between the pitch and the stands.

Re: Blackpool v Everton on Sunday
I watched the game, it was 90% kids that went on the pitch asking for players shirts and photos with Lampard.
Re: Blackpool v Everton on Sunday
The FA and Premier league have investigated and found that Everton are not in breach of current pitch invasion regulations, however they will assist them to ensure that as founder members of the Premier league they understand what constitutes a pitch invasion.
No action required, however Blackpool will be fined and docked points because it is a sh1thole.

The Echo Everton reporter wrote that they finally have a leader In Tarkowski who never shut up all match barking out orders, also impressed with his range of passing and said his distribution is what they have been lacking from the back
Re: Blackpool v Everton on Sunday
They are scousers it can not be their fault they invaded the pitch. The photo is a fake to show them in a bad light.

I didn't jump on the Everton bashing bandwagon but in Richarlison they had the most dislikable player in the league, Gordon a chronic diver, grotesque spending and blatant breaches of FFP along with a managerial merry go round. There really hasn't been much to admire about Everton FC for a number of years.Devils_Advocate wrote: ↑Mon Jul 25, 2022 12:03 pmSince Everton pipped us to Premier League survival I've noticed quite a lot of disrespectful posts on this forum about their fans and the club itself. Scouse's + Scottish holidays + Blackpool = Blackburn moves off the foot of the table of sh!tholes
Re: Blackpool v Everton on Sunday
I have the 'pleasure' of knowing a few Neverton fans through work mostly. They are quite possibly the most bitter jealous set of fans I have come across. The jealousy and bitterness towards the big team on merseyside across the park can be laughable at times! Neverton for a reason!

There is now though with Tarks wonderful distribution.what_no_pies wrote: ↑Wed Jul 27, 2022 8:16 amI didn't jump on the Everton bashing bandwagon but in Richarlison they had the most dislikable player in the league, Gordon a chronic diver, grotesque spending and blatant breaches of FFP along with a managerial merry go round. Frank has obviously done a great job there in such a short time!!!
As for PPE breaching. They are a protected species proving as with some refereeing decisions- against us for one - that 'Something is rotten in English Football'
