C'mon you Pie-Eaters!
Re: Tonights Footy - Rovers v Wigan
As they used to say in the music days at Wigan Pier, let's hope they give it absolute Wigan!
Re: Tonights Footy - Rovers v Wigan
It’s worrying, a Rovers win tonight and they’re only 19 points adrift
Re: Tonights Footy - Rovers v Wigan
It sounds like Wigan are the home team.

Nice to see the Rovers fans have managed to get organized enough to reinstigate the boycott.

We'll need to be 25 points clear of 3rd place after the Rovers game. Doable.

I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize for reminding everyone this game was on tonight
Re: Tonights Footy - Rovers v Wigan
Pears in goal is playing for a team of plums.
Re: Tonights Footy - Rovers v Wigan
I feel embarrassed,we should be promoted already, the team we had in the old 4th division would have wiped the floor with this dross,Dack ,& Dias strutting up and down as though they were superstars,as Del would say “What a set of Wallies”

Real 'old fashioned' February pitch.
They keep going on about these signings they missed.

The strangest thing, watching this, is that our friends down the road are anywhere near the top six!

Wigan the better team.

They'd do well in this league.
Re: Tonights Footy - Rovers v Wigan
The majority of the Championship are around this standard or worse.

Don't think BB-D likes Bradley Dack, how rude sticking his tongue out

Though “Derek” was doing ok for the pie men, having said that I switched off after half an hour it was that exciting!

Wigan hurting themselves with all the pointless fouls. They can win this.

Re: Tonights Footy - Rovers v Wigan
I still can't believe Blackburn are in and around the playoffs. I genuinely can't tell the difference between them and Wigan. Their manager will have done a very decent job if they're in the top half at the end of the season.
Re: Tonights Footy - Rovers v Wigan
I thought long and hard for one word to describe this game. The word I chose was TURGID. but then amended it to F***ing Turgid.

We should refuse to play on that pitch as its not conducive to our brand of exotic Football.

Where’s their polish keeper? Aside from ash shoving him into the net whenever I’ve seen him he’s been quite good

Re: Tonights Footy - Rovers v Wigan
BBD is starting to look like a one trick pony. Stays wide left around the halfway line, they drag everybody over to the right then play the long crossfield pass for him to run on to. He’s been sussed.
Re: Tonights Footy - Rovers v Wigan
Wow under 12,000 home fans
Re: Tonights Footy - Rovers v Wigan
I'm quite enjoying it. Wigan are quick when they attack but their final ball is useless. Rovers are just trying to hit their new loan from Hudders all the time.

I think he’s Belgian with a Polish name and he’s been garbage since Ash crunched him. Said on comms they were thinking to start Pears anyway but then Kaminski got injured in training.Red Fox Rocks Socks wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 9:16 pmWhere’s their polish keeper? Another pointless foul costs Wigan the lead. Keeper would never have got near the corner.

Re: Tonights Footy - Rovers v Wigan
Rekik and Kelly both off injured now. Fiddlers could pinch this, them two have defended very well together.
Re: Tonights Footy - Rovers v Wigan
Kelly got his studs caught in the disgusting playing surface. Looks like a bad knee injury

I wouldn't like to argue with Mclean. He looks a big un.
