How did the lone ranger have 6k points?

He'd better not be using Tonto's ticket.

If the lone ranger isn't picky then he's in the right place

Some mates are driving over early Saturday morning and staying at ours due to no trains.

Will be avoiding places like The Castle & The Manchester and any other places where sticking to the floor is non optional

Manchester pub last time we were there on a hot sunny day was a fantastic atmosphere for singing. Think we went up that season

But yeah in general the whole place is a dump

Earlier start with a couple of pints and some fish and chips on the prom, but not a weekend. I hope for good weather and a demolition job!

If 8 degrees and 10% chance of rain is good weather for you, get the sunnies on.

Staying over on Saturday night. Blackpool is just what you make it. It’s a tacky mess but if you want a good night out you’ll have one.

I'm staying Friday to Sunday.
The little woman goes shopping, while I enjoy the match, then hopefully an evening of celebration.

If the weather is dry I might have a cycle over, soak up some of the pre match atmosphere, get fish and chips and then catch the train back.

You'll also be cycling back, as there are no trains, just a replacement bus service.

Ha! Thanks for the heads up.

I did similar back in December. Cycled from Gillingham out to Whitstable for fish and chips and a few beers and on,y found out when I got there that there were no trains on for the journey back.
Luckily the chippy tea and the couple of beers field me up for the 35 mile journey back!

Will there actually be a replacement bus service if there is a strike?

For once it isn't people striking that is the issue, they are doing engineering works

It's maintenance work and the replacement bus service is from Blackburn.

Looks like Blackburn to Blackpool and back. Easy enough.
