Smallbone and Hoever have been great for Stoke.

I can honestly say not one player has impressed me for Boro in multiple viewings of them. Akpom is a bog standard Championship finisher having the season of his life (judged on his career so far, at 28 this year, quite possibly an anomaly). Sheffield United are a better side by far in my opinion.

I’ve seen Boro twice this season. Tonight and at our place. I’m sure they’ve been far better than this, but hard to see how they’ve been doing so well based on the two games I’ve seen.

Quite simply win our next three games (starting tomorrow) and we’re mathematically promoted.

It could be even sooner should should Boro drop anymore points before we play them.
