Great game, better than watching newcastle players rolling around on the ground

Peterborough to win on penalties, would be fitting.

They should have run away with it but had a collapse with a few games to go.

Will be a real sickener to finish almost 20 points ahead and lose out on pens if it goes that way.

They had a dip in form around March/April but still won 5 of their last 6

Ipswich won 14 and drew 2 of their last 16 to overhaul them

Away from the Sheff Wed game, West Ham qualified for the Conference League final but unsavoury scenes at the final whistle with AZ fans attacking the area where the West Ham players families were resulting in West Ham players confronting the AZ fans - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65642241

Don’t get this notion of justice…

Start of the season everyone knows 1+2 go up and 3-6 are in playoffs.

3rd finishing ahead of 6th offers no justice should 3rd progress.

6th place isn’t cheating 3rd place of a promotion slot.

Whether 3 should go up automatically or not is a separate argument but the season starts with the rules of how it ends

This is why there will always be negativity towards play offs when a team is so far behind at the end of the season. But agree they are great to watch provided you are not in them.

That fact that we ever signed Norris as a premier league club is a testament to how bad the recruitment was at the time.

On the day MLS announce San Diego as the 30th franchise, one glimpse at that game tonight shows they'd be much better introducing promotion, relegation and the drama of the play offs.

He must have been "a good lad" and "great in the dressing room" like a lot of Dyche's signings were.

So I think it has been a good innovation provided you are not in them more so if you are and happen to be in the top play off spot

Always thought the Premier League would be improved by introducing play-offs, maybe for the last Champions League place. Would make it more exciting if you could finish 7th and win the play-offs to get to the CL.

It’s weird that Wednesday are just the third best team in League One but the best two non-Burnley games I’ve seen this season have involved them.

Great fun tonight, hope they get Barnsley in the final.

The only team that can have a problem with being in them is third place. The other three wouldn’t be promoted anyway under the old system so the play-offs are a bonus.

you are arguing with yourself, i didnt say a thing about cheating, just emphasised the gulf in points after a long season, and in my view its justice that weds went through.

He’d been at a Premier League Club previously and was brought in as a third choice keeper. It was the summer when we signed just him and Dale Stephens.

Again, bad recruitment. This summer will show what we can actually do as a premier league club.
