Where would the STH <4000 points sit?lakedistrictclaret wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 4:38 pmOne of my golfing partners is a Man U STH. They have a similar policy, although he is allowed to release his ST to someone else a certain number of times per season.
I have thought further about our situation. If away tickets were available in the following order ( for example):-
1. 8000 points
2. 6000 points
3. 4000 points
4. Premium members
5. Members
6. General sale
that would seem fair
Re: New BFC Membership scheme
Not sure why they should, we don't even know when the first home game is....I would expect it to be announced with the ticket details for that game....if not, then the questions should be askedClaretTony wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 5:05 pmOr maybe they could have put something out soon after the game with some info.

Re: New BFC Membership scheme
Good question!
Perhaps there should be an extra category, above Premium members, of STHs with fewer than 4000 points.question
It's all getting a bit complicated!
The main thing is that is doesn't seem right to be able to "buy" twenty years loyalty for £250.

Didn't (maybe still does?) the foundation offer access to away tickets at the same priority level as season ticket holders. I thought it put you in the top band although I was never a member so can't say for sure.

It does put you at the top I think but I’ve never used it. I believe there is just a limited number of tickets though.

My premium membership must be my shareholding!

Re: New BFC Membership scheme
Think this may be a case of ‘be careful what you wish for’. I’m fairly sure in all of the Claret View surveys they’ve been sending out over the last 12-18 months, the loyalty points and away ticket allocations will have been high on the agenda. With the need to increase revenues the club might well look at this as an opportunity to monetise loyalty which, (without knowing all of the details yet) this looks exactly what these membership schemes appear to be.
It’s got shades of ‘retainer-gate’!

I've always said an away season ticket would be a good idea.....but would have to be in addition to a season ticket....I think this scheme is for those with low points to jump the queue ahead of season ticket holders who don't have the minimum points for any particular away game....exampleFeedTheArf wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 5:45 pmThink this may be a case of ‘be careful what you wish for’. 7000
6000
4000
Then before it went to season ticket only, the premium members would come into play

Re: New BFC Membership scheme
Bearing in mind we've plucked 4,000 pts out of the air. £250 may get you right to the top, first served, before everyone else. Or after every ST holder has got theirs, which would leave you with little or no chance most weeks. We don't know. That's the thing with the article on the site, there was little point publishing unless they can explain how it works.
Not that I'm too fussed, as it'll be a bit like the friends and family scheme I'd imagine in that it's not even policed so as long as you know somebody who either has points or a membership, you'll still get sorted anyway.

That's where I think the ballot system may be used for some matches next season due to supply and demand.NottsClaret wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 5:57 pm

They might as well just throw all the loyalty schemes away if they are going to come up with that nonsense again

Re: New BFC Membership scheme
You would think that before putting it in their website, the club would actually test the bessafe to see if it is clear, unambiguous and easily understood. Very poor output indeed, on this occasion. Who manages this department? Get some processes in place!

Isn't the price difference mainly because of the 10% off hospitality for the £250 option ?

But you needed a certain amount of points before entering the ballot.......due to another clubs stupid allocation, let's not beat the club up for that oneClaretTony wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 6:33 pmThey might as well just throw all the loyalty schemes away if they are going to come up with that nonsense again

Spot on. What they have put on the website is hopeless. The whole website is atrocious. Badly needs sorting out.

Re: New BFC Membership scheme
I ended up cancelling my Clarets + subscription because whenever I needed to listen to the commentary it wouldn't recognise that I was paying for the service. Despite the money coming out of my account. Customer service was shockingly bad so I just cancelled it in the end. I can live without Phil Bird.

So no chance I'm stumping up for a membership until they indicate that they have got their act together. Which they clearly haven't judging by the details published so far.

Re: New BFC Membership scheme
It’s going to be easy enough to get away tickets if we are not winning every match like last season. Bigger allocations as well (apart from a couple but even then I got tickets for Bournemouth without a problem)

Re: New BFC Membership scheme
Have season ticket holders rights just been destroyed overnight?
Does the current board hope that anyone wanting to go to away games will stump up extra money?
Very worrying .
Why haven’t the media team done a press release based on a film ?

Re: New BFC Membership scheme
So i have been a clarets foundation member since its inception, used to get priority away tickets when there was a limit to I think 1200 members. I am probably throwing £104/year away now.
