23,000 empty seats in Blackburn, Lancashire.
Could you fit the whole of our beloved Turf Moor into the unsold seats areas of Ewood Park.?
Still barely 8k gone which includes circa 3k in concessions /complementarys/perks. Must be like a giant echo chamber on match days....but at least you'll be able to hear what the players are saying.

I may be mistaken but i think they must still be working to covid restrictions of 2020/21 season and haven't seen the updated 2021/22 guidelines, let alone 22/23 or 23/24...

The gentlest of digs at our neighbours always has someone jumping to their defence
Re: 23,000 empty seats in Blackburn, Lancashire.
the atmosphere and ticket sales got quite poor back end of dyche era-we couldn’t sell out home or away in the prem-it’s been brilliant this year all round tickets selling and atmosphere better than ever. All I was saying is we could be sitting here looking on par with them down the road. It’s probably the biggest effect that any manager has ever had in the championship nobody knew that though but what a appointment.

They are by and large a bunch of arrogant two-hats though aren't they.Gp8419 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 6:00 pmthe atmosphere and ticket sales got quite poor back end of dyche era-we couldn’t sell out home or away in the prem-it’s been brilliant this year all round tickets selling and atmosphere better than ever. All I was saying is we could be sitting here looking on par with them down the road. It’s probably the biggest effect that any manager has ever had in the championship nobody knew that though but what a appointment.

When t’ Rovers players take to the field before ko, the PA guy introduces the crowd to the team. “ And in seat 159, it’s Fred Smith, seat 179 it’s John Robinson cough cough - with his pony”.

A rovers fan I worked with once told me that street parties were being organised in Blackburn on the day of the Orient game in anticipation of our demise.Gp8419 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 1:24 pmcould quite easily have been us back down to 10k this season in season tickets,I never like to take the mickey,we have been blessed that kompany for a first season as been sensational all round.so Could quite easily have gone the other way he never broke no records at anderlect either.

I've heard sales of jelly and ice cream were also well down at the end of last season.
Re: 23,000 empty seats in Blackburn, Lancashire.
And so what do expect in the coming season and the ones after that? By the way that thing at the end of the sentence is a question mark.Gp8419 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 6:00 pmthe atmosphere and ticket sales got quite poor back end of dyche era-we couldn’t sell out home or away in the prem-it’s been brilliant this year all round tickets selling and atmosphere better than ever. All I was saying is we could be sitting here looking on par with them down the road. It’s probably the biggest effect that any manager has ever had in the championship nobody knew that though but what a appointment.

I thought this was a sneak peak at the new digital Beatles release, thought it might be a reboot of Sergeant Pepper.

A further £21m of shares issued...no doubt to keep clear of FFFP...staggering.
Its OK though...a few wise lads over on brfcs are confident that young Wharton could fetch over £30m in this window.. 18 Prem clubs wanting his services apparently.
That ship is so close to the iceberg it's unreal, but they're still dancing in the ballroom.
Edit.... Soz agent Claret... Didn't spot your post
