With all due respect RV but you do come across as the main poster hanging off his every word fella.........I did begin to think you and Nixon were indeed the same 🤔
If something doesn’t happen soon for folk to talk about I think some risk losing the plot altogether .

Louieollie - have you got any transfer info ?

Pretty weird comment, please provide an example of this, or you can just f*** off to another thread.

Not sure there's any need for that RV🤔, and I certainly won't be f*****g off to any other thread no matter how nicely you ask me to.

Regarding the "links" to Paddy McNair. It's noticeable that the 3 teams linked to him are all 3 of the promoted teams from the season just ended which says it all really. None else remotely interested although SD might get linked as a last resort. The fact that McNair is not even a first choice at Middlesborough should set the alarms ringing, I believe he is well down the pecking order and even behind Dael Fry which we were previously linked to. Surely this claimed link is another example of lazy journalism and is heading towards rank boredom and desperation. I only hope we really aren't involved as we need playersw to challenge for selection not another Dale Stephens type bench warmer.

Disappointed you got touchy about my ( non insulting or non aggressive observation) RV as when you aren't posting quotes from " Nixon" you always come across as articulate ,reasoned and well balanced in your views!.

Son in law is football and boxing lead on a national daily (red top). Knows Nixon and all the rest very well.

He says that all leading journos have their contacts and are fed information on a give and take basis...some, maybe those with more integrity, will work hard to ensure what they print is kosher whilst they maintain an awareness that contacts (usually club execs and agents) will put out a level of dubious info for various reasons..often to raise a club or players profile or maybe create an auction etc. A lot of guff is published as a favour to clubs in return for promises of access to future titbits of genuine stuff.

He views Nixon as someone who works hard to make his money, but as a bit of a chancer who will pretend to know more than he does. He likened him to one of these "" mediums" who conduct séances on the back of plenty of homework on the participants. He suggests that there's no reason that Nixon would actually know any more than any other journo. He said I'd be surprised how little most journos know for certain and he's amazed that punters actually pay for his info feeds.

Not been any news to say it’s not happening. Trafford is currently abroad so that explains the delay.

I pause my Saturday movie to have a look on the messageboard. The heart flutters as I see this thread has reached page 125. Have we announced Trafford? Has a further bid for Mikautadze gone in?!

I unpause Back to the Future Part 3. Love this film.

Usual suspects all fart & no sh1t, it’s a shame the subject threads aren’t intended as designed, why discuss transfers & rumours when you can discuss anything but, tedious & tiresome doesn’t come close.

Oh yes because British journalists can be trusted never to put circulation figures or increasingly clicks on a website before impeccable journalistic standards .. especially at the titles he works for … my job is about using reliable sources , a quick look through the timelines of what they have reported this summer compared to when and where things have actually happened tell me that between the UK journalists we don’t have a reliable source .

Anyone know what Nixon’s news is? Asking for a friend.
Manchester City old boys Vincent Kompany and Leicester City’s Enzo Maresca are heading the chase for England under 21 star Cole Palmer.

Kompany would love to have Palmer on loan at newly promoted Burnley but City would need to be sure their starlet plays enough at Turf Moor.

And Maresca is keen to use his City connections to land Palmer for a season at Leicester although there is a feeling he is too good for the Championship.

Palmer can play on either side and would be an asset for either. City are yet to decide where to send him and will decide after he returns from a post-Euros triumph break.

Meanwhile Burnley will hand keeper James Trafford a stunning £40,000-a-week contract as they bid to take him from City in a buy.

Trafford has shot to fame and Kompany has talked his money men into investing. The guaranteed fee is £13 million plus extras.

Carlisle United are hoping Trafford moves for as big a fee as possible as they qualify for a slice of the deal that could go as high as £1 million eventually.

If we are pushing for Cole Palmer on loan, we must of been told there’s no chance of getting Gomez on loan
