Can they not just shake hands and get on with it? It’s a friendly. It’s a pointless exercise now

The fact we have no centre mids and bastien still doesn’t get any minutes shows he’s not in the plans at all

2 yellows and a strong word would've sufficed, or tell the coaches to sub them.

JBG and him had a bit of afters earlier too. I know JBG kicks out but their lad is an absolute tool.

I think our strategy should be for vitinho to hold the ball for 10 minutes while he decides where to throw it in...

They've had a few nips at each other. JBG hardly innocent.
Shame the ref didn't just blow for half time and tell both of them not to come back in the 2nd half.

Their lad had been going in late on Guddy a few times.

I’d have been tempted to call it tbh. Shite pitch anything could happen.

- I guess it’s a good exercise playing 10 on 10 and a bit of edge to the game

I remember back in the day (properly under Stan) a player was going to be sent off so we just subbed them.

Both managers want a 11 v 11 game here as a fitness and system test.

I noticed in the last game these sides mark really tight on throw ins, you seem to get a lot more space in England

Poor reaction from both players. It had to be two reds, or two yellows.
What does **** me off is I don't think any of the officials saw anything. They sent JBG off because of the Betis bench.

Pitch is dreadful (and not helping at all)

2 x deserved red cards unfortunately

Looked all right to be honest, but we've given the ball away too much and I'm not sure 10 v 10 is going to do anything other than fitness

Good routine for the goal

The ref has spoilt the game with a complete lack of common sense. If he was that intent on the two incidents being a red, then get them subbed off so that the game can continue 11 v 11

Hopefully the ref and the managers can agree to go 11v11 second half to work on shape etc. otherwise it’s a slightly wasted exercise other than fitness. Risking injuries on what looks a poor pitch

I don’t think they can but that would be the sensible approach if both teams agree.

I think it’s a good job JBG went off as the Betis players would have been targeting him

Betis player does scissor tackle on JBG, JBG kicks out at his knee from the ground as he's running away, Betis player runs back at JBG, almost punches him, raised his hand to his face, more handbags. Silly pr1ck started it all with the scissor tackle in a friendly. Well done you bellend, ruined the game for everyone.

He was given a yellow but the ref changed it to red after a minute or so. Think it was the 4th official who saw it.
