Benny finding his balls and insisting on staying on after a knock! Not before time.

Benny seems like one of those players who is overly-protective of his body and won't play unless he's in 100% perfect condition. Arjen Robben was the same, which is curious, because Benny's playstyle is virtually identical.

Berge felt like one of those 'this could quietly be the signing of the summer' signings. Dodgy first few games, but they were against City and Villa so it's forgivable, but he gives us something no one else in the team does.
They were also with him playing deep. He's a different player behind the front line.

I’d like to see Bruun Larsen from the right and Koleosho from the left on Saturday.

I’ve been impressed when I’ve seen him so far.

He's put himself in the picture every time he's come on IMO. Looks a very good player. If Koleosho hadn't had such an unexpected and blistering start to the season I reckon JBL would be pushing to be 1st choice on the left.

Benson probably thought that his gum shield was damaged and didn’t want to take the risk of it worsening.

He played on for about 10 minutes so I doubt it's too bad (dunno how he got injured). Came off during the goal celebration, so fingers crossed everything points towards precaution.

We really struggled against lower league teams in the cups last time we were in the Premier league when we made changes. Shows how strong our squad depth is now

We struggled whichever team we chucked out in the cups under Dyche.

This is such a refreshing change.

Partly that Kompany never writes cups off like Dyche clearly did. It wasn't just the personnel, because we always had the talent in the teams that were fielded to put lower league sides away. It was obvious the approach was always off, as though not as much preparation had gone into those games, as though Dyche thought they were an inconvenience. This was even the case in the Europe League qualifiers for Christ's sake.
