They moved out of there into the tin hut where the foodbank collection bins were stored but that's now become a bar, so no alternative but to move it back to one end of the ticket office. They might not sell tickets now on match days but there are still long queues, presumably tickets and cards not working.

Bobbers stand is the new one that’s replaced the “exec” boxes along the side- different from the away end I think.

How come you get spares Pete? I thought you didn't buy tickets en-masse for your supporters trips. Surely the right thing to do is to return these to the club for resale?

They're friends who asked me to sort their tickets (they have the correct points) but now can't get time off work.

They should be returned to the club to resell though, right? otherwise it will just exacerbate the issue of people without the requisite points getting hold of them and the argument continuing ad infinitum.

Aren't Luton tickets on general sale from the club to anybody already ? The fact the club have tickets left and anyone can just walk in and get one would indicate nobody is being deprived of a ticket for this game.

Not 100% sure away tickets are returnable.

Seem to be a mixed response on this matter.

Originally sold out on day two of release if I recall - the recent update to sell a small number may well be for general sale, but that kind of misses the point I'm making in that there are groups of fans buying large numbers of tickets (albeit with the requisite points) which then may end up going to fans without the required points, and as such causes the issues we keep discussing.

Absolutely, but of they do that they lose their 20 points, so by selling through Leisure they ensure they'll be able to ring fence tickets in the future.

There are several groups of fans who buy tickets for every away game, and then distribute them amongst the group, quite often to people who don't have the required points, it's been going on for years.

I have reluctantly, this season, joined those who have friends and family members who are just friends with a season ticket and lots of points. It is the only way my son and grandkids can get to go to away games given how quickly they sell out. With them living in Northants it is usually easier to attend away games than home games! However, the loyalty points go to the member rather than them so it means they don't get enough points, which means they can't get them in the priority period, which means they don't get the points, etc., etc., etc.

Leisure has not come back yet, and as a result I would be keen to buy that one off you.It also gives him a better chance of selling both instead of one

Thameslink rail service is on strike Wednesday 4th October and overtime ban from Monday 2nd through 6th October. I was planning on using rail to get from south west London to Luton on Tuesday evening. That's not possible when trains aren't running.

Does anyone know what parking is like in Luton for a Tuesday night game? The Luton Town website lists a number of town centre car parks. Does anyone know if there are any other areas to park? (I assume parking on the streets 10-15 minutes walk around the ground is not possible).

There should still be a decent amount of trains running on the Tuesday. The timetables on the National Rail website are now up to date.
