which Amazon have paid $100m to broadcast - that is right for a single game - this is likely to be a testing ground for an onslaught of advertising - with QR codes regularly pushed onto the screen. It is the biggest US shopping day of the year and Amazon are hoping to make huge revenuesCoolClaret wrote: ↑Thu Nov 23, 2023 4:50 pmJets @ Dolphins tomorrow as well!! Re: Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving.
Best holiday in America and having it on a Thursday -with a Friday off makes a nice long weekend for many folk.
Makes much more sense than miserable 'Bank Holiday Mondays' in the UK.
And sports-wise, its the nearest America gets to Boxing Day football.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving!
I wouldn't swap them though. The average paid holiday entitlement is 10 days, excluding bank holidays in the US.forzagranata wrote: ↑Thu Nov 23, 2023 5:58 pmHappy Thanksgiving.

Scrooge was a miserable *******, but I don't remember him having an aversion to punting the ball or trying a fake punt on their own 23. Gough was giving presents away all over the place. Suicidal. But a bearable game.
Meanwhile, as usual, dallas get given a cupcake game for the second instalment.... The man utd of American football.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving!
Some odd comments on here. I think some of you should educate yourselves about Thanksgiving, because it's part of our history and heritage, too. The first thanksgivings in America was celebrated by colonists in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The Plymouth bit should give you a bit of a clue.
