Getting rid of an old computer today I found my copy of this. I've uploaded it to Youtube if anyone fancies a watch:

Just flicked through it, I'll watch it in full tomorrow, Francis scoring the winner at. York still gets a lump in my throat.

99% of Burnley fans are convinced that the season began at Sunny Donny, because of the videos.

One of the best night matches ever. What an atmosphere. Going to matches knowing you’ve every chance of winning helps too.

Having supported us for the last 55 years that is by far and away my favourite game I have ever watched...what an atmospheric night that was and in my humble opinion its never been bettered in my time watching the Clarets.

You couldn't have written a better script, last kick of the game when we had all given up hope.

I wonder if we had any early leavers that night?

Although not connected, having watched York play Wigan on Friday night in a new ground, I'd be curious to know how many clubs have now moved into new stadiums since we won that 4th divsion title league and climbed up the leagues.

Only 49 years I can claim, but totally agree with you that night has never been eclipsed, and I include all the play offs, Athens and more in that opinion.
