Ref just made two terrible decisions - Amdouni hauled down nothing - then Berge touches a player who falls with the feel of his hand

The Trafford debate feels like some Kafkaesque nightmareCoolClaret wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2023 8:44 pmThanks again for being another sensible voice of reason.
Baffling people can't see it.
It puts more pressure/criticism on Traff as well because he can't play like that to the level that's required to be succesful in this league (as of now)
If you believe we have to commit entirely to playing it out then you accept Murics perceived weaker shot stopping (I say perceived as he's not had the chance to show how he is in the Prem) for his better control and passing and composure in possession.
If you think Trafford has to start because of his shot stopping despite his inexperience and weaker ball play, then that only strengthens the case for a tactical rethink.
I happen to go with "Bring Music in to maximise our playing out when we do it but be more judicious in when we do it, find out how he compares as a PL shot stopper and if he's not as good, Trafford goes back in and really rethink our defence".
Because our defence has only worked against Sheffield who were down to ten men and a weaker side than in the Championship. I still think after a 5-0 win we can ride that momentum and get back into this game but can't see how people can wave away our constant defensive mishaps.

I can only think it's from people that can't conceptualise football more than what they directly see frame by frame.
Take the chilish abuse out of it which I don't agree with and don't like getting lumped in with it but we've had 14 games of this now and we have shot ourself in the foot causing us to concede FAR MORE than we have benefited from it.
So if you want to play this way you have to play the guys that are seemingly better at it.
If it doesn't work then as you say you play the keeper that you think is 'better' and change the tactics. Mind bogglingly simple.

Anyone brave enough to claim we have the leaders and fighting spirit to come back in this game?

Lemina should have had 4 yellows in this game, how is he still on?
Re: Match Thread - Wolves v Burnley
After a good first half the front 3 are doing nothing ,as a previous poster said ,Why bring JBG on and take Larsen from his best position?
