It’s the standard thing on here, players become better without playing. I love Muric as much as anyone but he was the biggest flapper at crosses.

Just like Larsen was the best player at the club when he wasn’t playing, now he’s playing reality hits and he’s bang average.
He really wasn’t. The stats don’t show that either.

Got very good at high ball claims - not to mention he’d barely played league football in England till he signed for us.

Traff has played 3 seasons already - hasn’t got that claim in his locker and we’re crying out for someone that goes for the ball.

It's time to go I'm afraid. 18 games it's clear to see that these players aren't good enough to excute this system in this league. The massive problem is we aren't changing anything or trying anything different. We should have solidified and played teams in the counter with our pace. It's rubbish..

And not for one minute do I believe we are getting the best out of some of theses players.

Time for a manager who wants to play to keep us in the league than to produce assets for ALK.

The most disappointing thing is that people think it’s acceptable to get drubbed every week.
You’re talking crap though, performances have improved the last 5 or so, we’ve been competitive in games. Today has been dreadful.

Reality is newly promoted teams tend to struggle and we are no different. We just aren’t good enough atm in key areas, it’s that simple.

Brilliant from Dyche. Swamp us in midfield because we only have Berge comfortable receiving it in there, which forces us to try and go long. Then put an extra centre half in there so when we go long it will just be gobbled up easily by them, Also giving them extra height to dominate us on set pieces.

Absolute masterclass, we have no answer, think cullen might have to come on alongside Berge to give us a chance of playing out

That was about the most predictable half of football ever.

The same problems, in the same areas, equals the same results.

We need VK a lot more than he needs us, but this season has been a write off since the Chelsea game.

I hope the fans stick with it, and continue to back the lads. Accept our fate, because its the hope that kills you.

You’re looking for answers that don’t exist, neither of them are great in the air. Larsen is not Ronaldo, the proof is infront of our eyes, we no longer have to pretend these players are great when not playing.

The same guy Onana scored from a weak corner against Muric this season.

I'm amazed anyone thinks muric makes a difference
They mustn’t have been at Bramall Lane last season - I was, right behind him. It was ugly. Worse than this.

I like Muric but lets not use him as an excuse to bash Trafford and Kompany.

On another topic, seems like some Everton fans have invaded this board this week, all the trolls suggesting sack Kompany. The team has 4 points from the last 3 games and a 6-2 goal difference before today. We have improved. But we froze today.

Good opening 10 minutes from us until we got absolutely battered for the rest of the half. They'll finish top 10 will Everton, might just miss out on Europa due to that points reduction.

Been watching us since 1994. This is easily the worst team of players and the most useless manager we have had in that period.

I've been frustrated, disappointed, hard done by this season, but tonight sat here on a depressed and miserable Turf I'm genuinely embarrassed but also angered for really the first time this season as the enormity of the mess Vincent, Alan and the rest have got this grand old club of ours into sinks in

Nah non argument that mate. You’re just saying that to accept the view that we can’t possibly be better

The goals at Goodison in the cup didn’t come from a header inside the 6 yard box did they?

Salibas did at Arsenal.

It’s one thing if it goes back stick and it’s knocked down into the drink or whatever - when it’s there to be claimed then it’s on the keeper

Flat footed, weak and 0 presence.

There'll come a point where playing in this team will do our up and coming youngsters more harm than good.
Get as many players back in the team that played last season as possible - Muric, Beyer, Ekdal, Roberts, Taylor, Brownhill, Foster - plus either Cork/Cullen, Odobert/Koleosho, JBL/Zaroury and Berge - injuries and suspension permitting.
At the very least the team will have a better understanding with each other.

Amdouni is either a luxury this team can't afford or needs to playing with a better foil than Jay. I think it's the former.

We were 6 points behind Forest after we were robbed there in September. We’ll be 6 points behind tonight.

I get the sentiment, but this season isn’t gone yet.

Not for me and that's ultimately all on the manager.

Hoping for a much improved half.

It's the lack of desire that's worrying me. When we pick up the ball there is no movement, no one wants it. It genuinely felt like they immediately gave up after that second goal.

A comment from Hinchcliffe in the first half
"Burnley have tried to play out from the back, the trouble being they've made 7 or 8 passes in their defensive third getting nowhere and finished just hoofing it out to the Everton back line"
Just about sums us up

Dont expect too much from our team-too many are just not up to what the PL demands, and too many have gone missing tonight. We look dreadful at the back and there for the taking. VK needs to make changes now and not at the 70 minute plus mark. So sad to see after a couple of decent performances

Trafford continually gives the ball away or plays his receivers into trouble because he passes the ball so slowly that when our player gets the ball he is totally surrounded.
Pace should acutely embarrassed. I certainly am
He's being asked to play that way to draw the opposition onto us, thus creating space behind them. We did it all last season.

Difference was the opposition were tactically far less capable and we had a decent out ball to Tella.

An experienced PL team. Strong, organised and following a game plan.
Burnley - inexperienced, lightweight with a failed game plan plus a weak keeper on the high ball.
Unfortunately, I don’t expect anything from this game.
0-2 minimum.

Here we are same weaknesses same errors tons more money spent far fewer points and people are fine with it.

I don't want Kompany gone I just want him to learn and be less stubborn. He's fallen into 442 out of necessity but is now clinging to certain selections to keep with that it's like he gets fixated on certain things.
Mainly the sort of under 25 ish crowd or so/ plastic lot that for some reason like to think we didn’t sign players out of Sean’s choosing.

Jay, Brownhill and O'Shea simply not good enough at this level. That's all there is to it.
There are some 30 plus squad members who are not good enough at this level - that's all there is to it

JBR is another one added to the foes list so goodnight from me.

Can’t be so vicious and negative after only posting for the first time this week. Probably an Everton fan or a banned ex poster out for revenge under a new username.
