Re: Burnley v Luton
Good work from Lyle and Odobert there.
Re: Burnley v Luton
Much better last 10. As poor as we were before it, we’ve had the two best chances of the game by far and that was a good goal.

Re: Burnley v Luton
Hahaha. Andoumi was fortunate there because it wasn't a convincing strike.
Re: Burnley v Luton
Rare occasion Odobert has been one on one and he's absolutely demolished them there, good lad.
Luton can feel hard done by but I'm not too arsed. Need to step it up though.

So pleased for Amdouni. Cracking player in there I think. Odobert is just superb, defenders nightmare

Need to sort the amount of space they're getting down their right hand side at half time. Wide open spaces down there.
Re: Burnley v Luton
Given we are playing with a makeshift left back and without our best player this season in midfield you have to take that and hope we can see it out.
Re: Burnley v Luton
horrible watch apart from 5 mins around the goal, better team is losing. we need be much better in the second half.

Really enjoyable half to watch was that and despite being second best for a lot of it we had two decent spells in the game where created a couple of great chances one resulting in our goal.

Well, we've played a lot better and come in losing.
Let's just keep them out now!

Will take that. Need to wake up to their switches out to the wingers, that is their danger.

Well that was a horrible watch.

Brilliant scoreline at Half Time
Watching on TV
Need another goal which we will get if we play as well in as we did in last 15 minutes
Referee having an excellent game as well

Re: Burnley v Luton
Second best for a lot of that half, and although Trafford hasn’t really had any saves of note to make, we’re fortunate to be leading,
Centre halves are doing OK, as are Amdouni and Foster.

Re: Burnley v Luton
Gotta be happy with that end to the half. Centre halves, Trafford, Cullen and Amdouni all playing well.
Re: Burnley v Luton
Goal given to Amdouni. Guardian reporter had given it to JBG.

Re: Burnley v Luton
Terrible half we don’t deserve to be infront, get Brownhill off free kicks and get Vitinho off he’s so weak and bad defensively and don’t get me started on his ‘long’ throw that is just average length that any player could do.

Well have to be happy to be winning at HT .
Just need to keep hold of the ball as there is space between the back 4 just need tpo play smart .
Ogbene is always there player when they look for an out

Re: Burnley v Luton
We didn’t look to good for the most part of that half but I’d take an underserved victory tonight.
They had about 80% of possession at s certain point.
A Dyche-like game

Re: Burnley v Luton
I think a neutral would find that game really interesting to watch two lower end teams going at it, but Burnley and Luton fans will probably find it pretty stressful.
I'm not sure we properly deserve to be winning (which we are!), but we certainly don't deserve to be losing (which we aren't!), but whilst Luton might've edged the balance of play, we certainly had the better chances, and anywhere between 0-0 and 2-0 was probably fair.

Re: Burnley v Luton
I agree with Davethevicar, the ref has been fine. Only two mistakes for me, a FK against O’Shea where he clearly played the ball first and didn’t follow through on the Hatter and a throw-in on the HW line that is down to the lino.
We are crap every game but we seem to be staying in games much better. Trafford only had the one save to make, from Barkley, and some comfortable catches.

Re: Burnley v Luton
Not as bad as some are making out, Trafford with 2 routine saves, Luton had more of the ball, but the 2 biggest chances have been ours and we took 1 of them, Brownhills set pieces aren't as bad as people make out, there is naff all movement, it's the same on our throw ins. First 5 and last 15 we were good, that's a pretty decent half, we do need to be mindful of the switches but there formation against ours makes the overload so easy.
